Springdale has seen significant growth through a five year period. The population has gone from a mere 500 to 1200 residents. With the growth of the population there was also the growth of commercial in the town.

There was also the construction of the seaport on the cold river which brought a huge increase in residential desirability. There was also the construction of the first fast food eatery in the town. A Pizza hut and long john silvers. The teens of the town jumped for joy when they heard the news.

With all the great events going on in the community though it was a good to remember the founder of our dear town by building a small park with a statue of Sir Alex Spring

Overall the town has seen great growth and we hope to continue to see more.
