Region Data

All right. I'm not new here or anything. I've always noticed that there are 2 Region files, the one in My Documents and the one in Program Files. The one in My Documents changes as the Region does, but, I dont know why I ask untill now, does anyone know why there are 2 Region Files? Perhaps the one in Program Files is just a mirror.... I dunno.

Sorry if someone already asked this, I thouroughly searched the forums. So, would it be safe to delete the Region file in Program Files?

maybe you should do a test, just move the region file away (CUT and paste). see if it works or not, then move it back.

The region folder in program files is a backup that is created when you install SC4, it does not change from install so if you need to replace a region in the docs folder you can copy the region from the programs folder.

I also found out, the one in My Documents, Is the one that is your custome regions, Then the other is Maxis regions
