pray you have a back-up of the city and import the back-up to the region...this sounds more like the possibility of corupted saved city...as the other cities work...so most likely not a software or hardware conflict outside the game

though...it could be a plugin conflict where the particular plugin is only in one city (eg a particular modded building in just that city for example)

sorry to say trial and error is the only sure meathod of saving the city...it's very time consuming and hard to do.....please inform us if you find the problem...so we can help others that might have the same troubles in the future

basicly you have to ask yourself...is the city worth the trouble of going through plugins 1 by 1 to see if that the problem...if not...delete the city

Well I don't know.....I could play this city for hours but only if the simulator is paused. When I load the city the date is 19.12.77, but when New year arrives the game crashes.......

This is a symption of a plugin problem. You can use the wolf-fence system of locating the problem without going to individual testing of plugins. Here is how that works:

Divide your plugins in half, and copy half of them to a folder outside the game area.

    Try the game.

If it runs, take the plugins you removed, and divide them in half. Put half of them back, keeping track. Try the game. If it works, iterate this.

If the game doesn't work, remove half of the latest half set, and try it. If this works, then the problem is in the half set you removed. With the exception of that half set, put all others back and try the game. If it works, you have the problem isolated in the hold out half set.

Apply the halviing algorithm to the hold outs until you finally isolate the problem.

The trick here is to slam fences down in your field and see if you can make the wolf howl on one side of the fence, then put in more fences, etc.

Another name of this is binary search.
