Watching Supersize Me

Hello everybody,

My class is going to be watching Supersize Me in a couple of days, and, being the rather squeamish person that I am, I just wanted to what I should look out for as far as stuff that's really gross, or scary, even. We are watching the PG-13 version, not the school version (which is only PG). I have taken a look at the official website and the Wikipedia entry on it, but nither have really said a whole lot about what's in the movie, besides the basic summary of what happens.

Yeah when he pukes out of his car window, thats quite bad. As far as I can remember the worst bit is having to look at McDonalds food for 45 minutes, that should make it at least an 18. I hate McDonalds.

I love the taste of fast-food, I just don't eat much though.

Mm, the vomit scene. I remember that. I also remember passing up McDonalds on a day out with some friends later that week. Ate at a Roy Roger's on a trip to Poughkeepsie a week after that, so the effect was only temporary. I also recall biting my lip during the Wendy's shots, because I had worked there before.

March 17, 2004. I got food poisoning from McDonalds.

    It came out both ends.

@GingerBlokey: I agree. Damned McDonald's is polluting our food supply! 26.gif

Well, I watched it in the summer of last year, and there was nothing bad that would be unsuitable for the squeamish except for the vomit. I probably would, too. I always have to go to the bathroom after eating a cheeseburger. Fast food is disgusting!

You also need to be aware that the entire movie is B.S. Several people have done experiments showing that McDonalds is not the cause of his weight gain. One man actually lost weight eating nothing but McDonalds by simply getting Diet Coke instead of regular. His weight went from 160 to 151 on the McDonalds "diet": Link

Here's another website designed to reveal the truth about the film: Link

McDonalds may taste like crap, but it gets a bad rap for being less healthy than a hundred other foods and drinks that we let of the hook.

Well, we finished watching it today, and I have to say that I thought it was DISGUSTING. Especially the part where they show the McThrowup and the operation where they show they guys insides as they do it. But yeah, watching the guy almost kill himself off the McD's food was the worst part. I think he's insane to even have tried it, much less keep going when he saw what was happening to him.
