The Clinton Libary in little rock Arkansas would be a nice addtion to the simnation, it is a very well designed building.

Wonderful additions to SimCity would include:

 

Taipei 101, which, unfortuntely, is nowhere.

 

A Swimming arena.

 

A performing arts center...more realistic.

 

A custom-create massive airport pack (I know it exists already, but could yu make it better?)

I am so happy for BATters like Gascooker, Il Tonkso etc. for making British-specific BATs... we need more of you around!

3) Caffs, would be great to see a few traditional caffs (or diners to the Americans), great for tatty CS$ areas.... how about some chippies?

It'd be cool if someone could make The Symphony Center Tower . Its under construction in Atlanta and is gonna be finished some time next year. just thought it was kinda cool looking.

 

Also, i wish someone would make that biga** NASA building from the Kennedy Space Center to go with my spaceport

I don't think many batters read this but what we definitely need are more sports bars, clubs, jazz bars, blues clubs and such so we can build an entertainment district like something found along Beale street in Memphis, like Honkeytonk Row in Nashville, like Bourbon Street in New Orleans, or like in my hometown Water Street in Milwaukee.

I think it would be really cool if someone made the Library/US Bank Tower in Los Angeles, CA. I know that Rickk has made a good looking one, but with inaccurate details compared to the real building. Ex: building color, thickness, and amount of windows on upper floors.

Hey super BATters! My cities need a little sprucing up.  I don't need a mondo spiring towers, My town is missing something simple like a train station. Little ones that are not rural. It seems most of the ones on the STEX are just remodeled from the game.

I have a major request, I need Philadelphia's City Hall. In a future post I will scan a picture and post it here.  If I knew how to bat, believe me I would gladly make the building and share it with everyone; but since I wouldnt know where to begin I keep dreaming.  For any one living outside the Delaware Valley (Philly), You are probually asking why- whats so special about Philly's City Hall. Well where do I begin? Let me count the ways.  Here I go. First, Its the largest City Hall in the USA.  Its Colossal. It took thirty years to build, thats longer than it took to build the Great Pyramids! From 1870 to 1901 the intersection of Market and Broad was a major contruction zone. Its the tallest functioning masonary structure in the world.. Yes the Washington Monument is taller but its a monument, not a functioning building. Its height is 540 feet to the top of William Penn's hat.  Speaking of the statue of Penn, It also is the largest and highest statue on top of a building in the entire world.  Second, Its visually breathtaking.  Whether you think its beautiful, or as some have called it a decaying mass of stone the building is definetly worth a lot in SC4. Im surprised really that the people at Maxis didnt consider using it as the default city hall in the game.  It is designed in the French Second Empire style, which means it is decked out with arches, peaks, gargoyles and tons of other little eye catching details. Sadly most of these details are to high up for the street level observer to notice but they are there.  Some other things that would look great in the game are the clocks that adorn the tower about 3/4 of the way up. At night they shine a brilliant yellow that can be seen for miles. Also, just installed this year are flood lights that illuminate the entire tower in brilliant white light, its awesome to see.  Theres an inner courtyard that would be visible from all angles in the game, plus there are plazas on the outside of the building on its western front.  If any of you talented BATters out there are interested in the most challenging BAT you  will ever create, let me know.  I will gladly send you all the information needed to make this project a reality.  Trully, to the person who undertakes this project, this will will be your masterpiece. It's good to see we have some other people from Philly here( I'm from the Philly area)

trackseventeen: City Hall would be awsome to have in the game. It would be alot of work, but I think it would be worth it. it'd be cool if the statue of Willy Penn would have on different Philly team Jerseys, like in real life when the teams go to the playoffs( in the summer it would be phillies, in the fall and winter it would be the Eagles and in the early spring it would be Flyers or Phantoms.

I would also love to see more football (football, not soccer) and baseball stadiums for SC4.  Here are some other ideas that have yet to be attempted:  Hardee's restaurant, a real looking Burger King (it's been attempted and failed misserably) Conoco gas station, Phillips 66 gas station, Farm and Fleet store, Texas Road House restaurant, Red Robin restaurant, Dollar General store, and many other Dollar stores that continue popping up everywhere.  Also missing are more realistic looking houses.  Most of the houses in SC4 are just that, houses.  But most, if not all of the houses now a days have attached garages.  I've found many houses created with garages, but there are so many other styles that have not been done.  Thanks!

Another thought, we've got public telephones, we've got public parking, what about a mail box for a corner a simple 1x1 lot like the telephones or such, where you drop off your mail.. not sure about what stats could be on it ..

And Theme Parks ... we are in severe lack of things like Sea World, Six Flags, Busch Gardens, Worlds of Fun, .... something to this affect ... maybe make it replace the tourist trap?

Haha as I type and read this thread everyone in the house is chiming in on ideas ..... so until they run out of them I'll keep giving y'all ideas...

ok ok, I'll wrap this up, I don't expect all or any of these things, but just thought I'd drop some ideas in the direction of the talented artists of Simtroplis.... I enjoy all of your work it's definately gives my cities a bit more realism.

The city of Marietta, Georgia -- where I grew up -- used to have a pretty nice courthouse built in 1898:

Could someone make a marble steps kit? Like if you wanted to do a multi-tiered park you'd cover a whole slope with steps, as many squares as you needed (both left to right and top to bottom). There would be left and right 'railings', as well as some landing pieces with nice balustrades, great night lighting and center step pieces with or without handrails.

Here's an example:  (That's the Lincoln Memorial, BTW. No, not that one. This one's in Kentucky.)

 

Imagine being able to cover a whole slope with steps down to a river, with some landings looking over the landscape.

I was hoping someone would consider doing a Dollar General store.  These are popping up all over the nation.  We designed 3 in my town in just the past year.  The Dollar General is only the main 70' wide x 130' long building.  In the wing there is leasable space which could actually be represented as such in a BAT.  In our case, we have a Mr. Goodcents sub shop and an Ice Cream store in our wings.  Here is a picture I drew when designing the plans for the building:
