all: I don't think I'll be able to post the update tonight. For some reason or another imageshack won't upload pics and Comcast (our internet provider) has been very shacky since I got home (will work sometimes and not others or will run extreamly slow). But when the internet is working properly I'll have the pictures up as soon as I can. They're all photoshoped and ready to go.

I've never liked comcast....

Anything is better then comcast...I sadly have their cable service and only get like 70 channels for like $50 a month for 3 rooms...(I've tried to get satilite,but my apartments won't alow it...)

Truly a landmark moment....

i have an idea: somewhere around downtown there should be a big ol' rail yard with freight trains and passenger and whatnot. that could cause the industry on the island to BOOM big time. what do you say to that?

EDIT: Comcast works fine for me, internet and all. i get 986 channels, 159 being music, and 427 being movies and the rest are just the usual.

Well, bobinator here, barely. Comcast died completly for the last day or two an now it's sord of half way back. It took me 5 minutes to open up mozilla and another 5 to get here. As I said before I have the update completly ready, all I need to do is upload onto imageshack and post here once the internet is back on track.

topcliff: I'm liking that idea. I'm thinking that or a large park. Keep in mind though that this island is only about 5 or 6 tiles at the widest spot.

Ive been so busy with other stuff I havent checked in on SunValley lately.  Shame on me...

I really like the university and especially the theme park.  I want to go on those water slides!

Also, I'm glad option 2 won on the bridge.  It looks the best to me.

will you people stop asking that? he told you, when Comcast starts working for him again. what about widening the island a little bit put SG's RLS Resort there, run a little road bridge acroos there, and make it a small version of the Burj Al Arab or whatever it is in Dubai.

Sun Valley Times

New mall in downtown

Construction has just been completed on a brand new mall. It boasts 50 shops and a 20 theater movie theater. The mall, built just south of downtown has beautiful views of the river thanks to the state of the art glass dome that makes up the center of the mall. So, if your not busy this weekend, why don't you go check out the sights on this wonderful complex.

New bridge finally completed

 

The new highway bridge connecting downtown Sun Valley with the eastern suburbs has been completed. The new bridge boasts state of the art earthquake technology and is one of the best landmarks in Sun Valley. Possibly something to compare to the Golden Gate Bridge, says transportation advisor of Sun Valley. But, the new bridge does not come cheap. Users will pay $5 to cross the bridge until it's payed off.

Construction Crews break ground

 

Yesterday, the busy construction crews of Sun Valley broke ground on an underwater freeway tunnel that will lead from downtown to the southern suburbs. Traffic was getting extreamly clogged on the main freeway and many hope that this new route will decrease it. The bridge is expected to be finished in roughly a year if there are no setbacks.

Looks fantastic...Perhaps you could snap some pics while creating the undergound tunnel.....I understand how it is done, but I have never tried it.  I wouldn't mind getting a small lesson....

ephorex_77: No, your ot missing a download or anything. You just haveto trick the game. All you do is make a thin strip of land, make a tunnel under that then lower the strip of land.
