Can"t unlock SpacePort

Is your city on the medium or hard difficulty level?  It doesn't show up in easy cities.

Help, Anyone!

I did everything I was supposed to do---I got a big city with University, Advanced Hi Tech Research Center, and over 25,000 Hi-Tech jobs. But I still can't unlock the Space Port! Has any one else have this problem??

If you want to cheat...Which you probably don't,but to those that do I know the cheat code....

i know its not good to cheat, but heres a code to unlock it, just type in:

you don't deserve it

exactly like that in the cheat box by pressing ctrl+x.

It's impossible to get it on an easy city without cheating, unless you have some sort of mod installed wich also enables it on easy. The reward trigger for the spaceport explicity has game difficulty level in it.

you need to do a few cargo train missions & a few steam train missions & that will unlock the spaceport

The names of the 2 missions are: Train Ride for Rocket Formula (steam train), and Super Secret Fabric for Space Ships (freight train).

I've never got all the rewards without cheating.  Huge things like the university have to be considered when you are initially zoning your city - it is no good if you get rewarded them when your city is already full.

i have done it in easy.it is two train misions.

You do have to have quite precise requirements for this mission to load. (It says what's required in the manual.) I once altered my railway lines in one of my cities to make this work.

I have also just noticed the date diffrences in this thread.

That's oddd....I could've sworn that I got it on easy without cheating...  Well, perhaps that's why I haven't gotten it in forever!

 

Hmm maybe you an me were both doing the train missions.I remember before I joined Simtrop I used to play the UDI all the time.Then i forgot it even existed.Now its like I went in a cicrle.Wow I can't belive how long ago I made that post.
