I don't believe that there are any. Only for stream kits and the likes, but not for other purposes like a gorge or a river. I might be wrong though.

I believe that this belongs in either the Modding-Transit Networks or the Simtropolis Exchange area of the forums.

Welcome to Simtropolis, btw.1.gif

It doesn't have to have water in it... but it helps, sometimes. The rain tool (unlockable via downloaded plugin) can be used to put the water there on a temporary basis, if you absolutelly can't get the bridge to build via other means.

No, ploppable bridges are almost impossible to create. If, however, you want a bridge over a gorge, you can make it in the default game, you must simply make sure it has steep enough sides. The game sets the slope requirement at a ridiculous amount, but bridges over land do work.

When I try building bridges at all(except canals), They all start and end with a hill.30.gif

Because of this, I cant put Avenues right along the riverbank.
Btw, Qurlix how did you get that wierd intersection6.gif

Someone in the know, am I correct in saying the BRF tunnel slope mod would help this problem?

I can answer for Qurlix about that interesection: The NAM10.gif (isn't it always?)

i have an idea for ploppable bridges, the bridge would be a 1x1 road to subway converter, the actual bridge would over hang and be a gigantic prop or building, then you would place a blank road to subway converter, or a half of a bridge on the other side, you would link the two sides with subways, it would kind of be a ploppable bridge, but would be limited by the capacity of the subway, an idea like this could be used for diagonal bridges also, it is the only way to plop bridges and the only way to get diagonal bridges.

I fixed that problem. Look for bridge height mode in the modding section. It will eliminate the need for hills/ slopes for bridges.

As for the gorge one. Make sure the tile is single and as verticle as possiable. i used to do that for my canals. the land was at a rediculous height and the bridge was flat and the ships could go through.

    Hoped that helped.

what about something like this, it's the CSX Bridge 360m swing by Vlakhaas.
    <ahttp://stex.simtropolis.com/lots/vlakhaas/vlakhaas_csx%20bridge%20%20360m%20swing/CSX%20Bridge%20-%20360m%20Swing_s.jpg><ahttp://stex.simtropolis.com/lots/vlakhaas/vlakhaas_csx%20bridge%20%20360m%20swing/CSX%20Bridge%20-%20360m%20Swing_sn.jpg>

it's just a huge overhanging prop on a small tile , it's not transit enables, only eye candy, but it could give the the appearance of what your looking for.

So, using the overhanging prop method, would one be able to accomplish the following: If, say, I've created a custom Suspension Bridge model...if I were to make it an overhanging prop, with a little screwing around with bridge height and such, could I conceivably plop this massive prop on top of a normal Maxis bridge (ie, something like the level bridge, it obviously wouldn't work for a suspension or cantilevered)? If so, I may have finally found a way to make the Ambassador Bridge workable in-game, at least by appearance...

Non-ploppable land bridges are possible, but they can only be used over a deep gorge.   The sides of the gorge must be very steep, AND on at least one side, the tile at the top slope must also slope down a bit; you need a small slope and then a steep one.

Ploppable bridges can be made from transit enabled lots.  If the bridge goes over water, use a transit enabled water lot.   If the ends of the bridge must be at different elevations, use pre-rush hour transit enabling (no animation and no UDI).

Bridges made using an overhanging prop, like Vlakhaas

Yes, you can do this. I BATted some of our Chicago bridges here, and then made overhanging props and put them over the level road bridge. I had to do some substantial modding to the bridge exemplars, but it was worth it. (lowered the min. length to 3 tiles, and the min. height to 0).
