Interesting storyline. Extremly different from the traditional City Journal, as you say "SIMCity Journal".

Is it me, or does the story line get a little confusing on the last installment. Plus, where there meant to be pictures in the last post?

Oh well, keep it going and post some more relevent pictures.

fire-bird:   I couldn't see the pics in the March 18 update.  I'm gathering maybe you are more into story than the images, but they would be helpful to us "see-and-understand" types.

I'll check back to see if you've sorted this out- let my know if I could be of any help.  I don't get anything other than whitespace where pics are supposed to be in either IE or Firefox.

The Legend of the Silver Comet

    Continued

They flew across woodlands. It was hard to believe they were not real because of the amount of detail. They had been flying for hours, it seemed like.

"We should be there in a moment" Ben informed them.

    "Good" Will said.

Soon they landed by the police station, in the middle of what looked like a farming village. Almost the entire town was farmland.

    "NO MALLS" Lisa outraged.

"You will just have to get used to it" Ben said.

"We better find a way out of this game quick or I am going to go crazy" Lisa said, folding her arms.

"I don't see the problem" Austin said.

"You Wouldn't" she said with a look of loathing on her face.

    "Ok--sorry..."

They got of the helicopter and began to walk into the police station. No one was in there but Maxis dummies. They continued through the station and down the street.

"How much further" Will complained, he was the oldest of the bunch.

    "Quite a way "Ben replied.

    Will moaned.

"Sorry, I don't have a car" Ben said.

This time, everyone frowned at him.

"Hey, I just got here" Ben said.

"So, this is a game, ever heard of CHEATS" Lisa yelled.

    "Oh".

    "Watch" Lisa said.

She walked toward a red convertible car at a stoplight and opened the door through the open window. She slid into the car, grabbed the Maxis dummy, and threw him out.

    "I'll drive" she said.

"Do you have a license?"Ben asked.

"No" she replied, gripping the wheel.

    "Then get out!"

"She does not have to" Austin said.

"Yes she does, I am not getting in a car with a 15 year old driving" Ben argued.

"Okay, stay there then" he said opening the back door for Will.

"Ok, but let me sit up front to show you where to go" Ben said defeated.

The light turned green and a couple of cars went through them. Everyone shivered, no one could quite get used to that.

"Ok, fine" she said slightly angry.

She put her foot down on the gas, and they accelerated forward at a great speed.

"STOP, it was a LEFT" Ben yelled.

"OK, ok" she swerved around, hitting a mailbox and throttled forward, turning right.

As all this was happening, a discussion was commencing in a near by city. As it terns out, hundreds have been sucked into the game. And also, the U.S government does know about the mysterious powers of the game that was in almost every household. What's more is that the Silver Comet is due in only a few hours.

    Hope you enjoyed it.
