How do i fix this park issue ?

Hi folks. I had this game installed a couple of years ago and now i remember why i quit playing the game .. i experience the fallow problem with a lot of plugins:

 

 

There should be normal paths and trees and stuff like that but it isnt there .. does any one know what i a have to do to repair this ? Thanks a lot !!

I think this would have got more replies if it was in the Bugs and Technical Issues forum. Here are the solutions I can think of:

 

1) Make sure all your graphics settings are set to the highest they can be.

2) Mabye try downloading the SimCity4 Buildings as props and Rush Hour Buildings as props from the BAT page of the Official website.

Note: You have to be product registered there and logged in to see the updates.

I think you're missing a texture pack. These lots are supposed to have overlay textures aswell. Look at the descriptions of the lots at the STEX and download all the dependencies, they are easy to forget but creates problems like these.

Yup. Actually reading readmes is a good measure to avoid such problems with plugins.

Judging from the picture, I'd guess it's the BSC parks series, and you're missing the overlay textures that can be found in the BSC Textures MEGA Pack which is on the STEX. And on a side note, BSC releases generally come with an extensive and complete readme that contains all relevant information and links to all dependencies.

If you want to use custom content, you will have to keep track of what you actually downloaded and what you will need as support files (dependencies). This mostly involves some common sense, some kind of order/sorting system in your plugins folder and wise application of your reading skills.

Btw, I think there is a new edition of the BSC Parks out there; if you don't have it yet, it might be interesting for you.
