ky72x: For Off-Topic posts like that, you should use the "quick reply" box. If you use the "reply" button, you have to type in " *bracket*br /*bracket* " to get a new line.

Just a tip. 4.gif

Well, it only does that on the iMac I was using last night.  Since thats on dial-up, and you are too, I've come to believe that it doesn't apply for ppl using a wireless connection.

Hey, I'm gonna make my 100th post here too... someday... I don't like being a "squatter." That doesn't sound very nice.

Boy, hot in the Texas desert today... Many more days like this and I'll turn into a tumbleweed... I sure could use an Ice Tea please...

Man I need some coffee or a pepsi or something with caffine. My cousin is visiting from Texas and I spent all last night with him. We were up til we saw the sun lol. He's an actor, but hasn't been in any big movies yet. One of his friends plays the girl in Monster House. He was originally gonna have the lead role, but SONY bought the film and changed it from a PG-13 live-action movie to a PG animated movie so and recast him. 15.gif That's show buisness for ya

Oh, come now, you may "hate" school now, but you'd be bored out of your minds if it wasn't there to occupy your time nine months of the year!

As for m'self, I leave for my college on the 18th of August. I'm the first person who does that where I am, because most departures for college by locals are a week or two after that.

Nerd_guy:  Of course you know by now that the autosystem will serve your burger as you like it when you think of it.  How was it?

MsD:  While I try to get here every day, the autosystem takes a lot of the work away.  You guys pretty much get what you want.  Yes, I have been very busy as the General traffic has been heavy.  I get between 75 and 100 messages a day when I log on to my mail, since I subscribe to the lists I moderate.  Whew!  I only have to read most of it, but sometimes it's Action Stations.

brancra:  Actually found that place a couple of years ago when driving around in Grey County.  It really is in the harbour at Meaford.  Moose Factory is on an original Canadian reservation up near James Bay.

defcon pilot:  Erda is the Norse Myth equivalent of Gaia.  Wotan was the chief god until he ran afound of the Rhine Maidens and their gold.  Schwartz Alberich cursed it, and so, coveting it cause Valhalla to be burned down in a vast Ragnarok ending Gotterdamerung.  If you want some interesting teading try the Walsungasaga.

    Jacky:  Hi.  enjoy your coke.

DJR:  Hope you enjoyed your McGriddle.  Did the autosystem get it right?

dudeson:  Hope you enjoyed your iced tea.  The autosystem takes the specs from your thoughts, you know.  Texas desert?  Been there, dried up thoroughly.  *Cough cough*  Dusty, just remembering.  I really like the Sonora Desert in Arizona better.

Jacky:  You are just like clockwork.  I hope you enjoyed your coffee.

MsD:  A new day.  Fresh coffee.  Enjoy it?

Nerd Guy:  Well, you needed more than coffee.  How about a nice plate of steak and eggs?

fire_bird:  Root beer on the house in honour of back to school.  How you doing with your yearbook stuff?

Nerd Guy:  Every minute of hate = 60 seconds of lost enjoyment.  Even school has something going for it.  Someday it ends, and you get to find something to do to stay alive.

brancra:  College days are usually the best days of your life.  Enjoy.

DioAngel:  I hope the autosystem got that right.  You did mean chocolate mousse, didn't you?  I don't think there are any chocolate bryophites.

MsD:  Here I am, here I am, how do you do?  See rant above.  Usually finish about 0200, and really tend to forget to come of Off topic.

ky72x: yup... that's the one.  Cool that you know what it is!  My nephew used to play a lot, so I saw him using this one once and thought it made a good mascot.

BTW, the word for "Pet" in spanish is "mascote" which I think is hilarious... Some pets would probably make good macots for their owners.

I agree about College... they were some of the greatest times...  And I had way more freetime in college than I have ever had since... which of course was all spent "studying." 41.gif

N_O_Body I haven't been in town for awhile and thought I'd stop in.  Good to see you.  Nice autosystem.  It reminds me of the one on Star Trek.  But seems to be a newer model ... a bit more efficient I think, and shinier.

Well, it's been a bit of a while...

    ky72x: Eh? I don't think I understand. 15.gif

N_O_Body: Well, I'll do some research on that.

Hey, everyone - check out the Weirdest Places in the World! Because damn, I want to go to some of those. 9.gif

Once school starts, I will need to start limiting my time on ST to around 1/2-1 hour. 15.gif Damned schedule. 26.gif

LOL I never saw that one. Isn't there a shirt like that? Last night there was a cook out at my grandma's because My aunt and cousin are here and also for my great uncle Jack's 73rd b-day. Anyway, Mary-Anne (my aunt) is the only Texan that can't grill!!! She put twice as much charcoal as needed and then dropped a burger on the ground. To see if the grill was hot enough (it wasn't) she put her hand on it! lol And my (great) Uncle Jack has Altheimers and was reading every card out loud, very slowly and talking to the cat. Then my cousin Steve was there with his wife and daughter and did something with a stuffed elephants trunk that I don't care to explain, but I was on the floor! He had no idea what he was doing at first though. lol Anyone else have anything funny happen lately?

MsD: Aren't you glad I remembered you are a girl? lol

nerd_guy:  Actually, I was a college professor.  I taught IT topics, mostly Operating Systems and Programming.  I hope the autosystem got your order right.

My interest in history has to do with the amount of it I have lived through.  I was born in 1937 and will be 69 in September.  This is in the dark ages before television, computers and all that nice stuff you grew up with.  People died of measles, mumps, polio, small pox, broken legs, etc.  Life was shorter, darker and uglier.

ky72x:  OK.  Are you sure you wouldn't like a 7up instead?

dudeson:  Thanks.  This one is telepathic.  By the way, "per" in French is animal familier (pl. amimaux familiers).  The French must have origninally thought that all pet owners were witches, eh?

Jacky is served her regular coffee.  How are things going at the resort, Jacky?  We had a good time there.

MsD:  Thanks.  I did find time to download your lots as you know.  Really nice.  I managed to create a city with only your lots, my new fancy power plant,  my water works, and a few houses.  It became quickly profitable.  Oh, my walnut tree is growing fruit again.  Your squirrel is welcome to visit in a few weeks when they are ready.
