@N_O_Body: French is not only the language of love but cooking too! That must be the reason why I'm addicted to both... Strangely, a set of high quality German utility knives is something I'm dreaming of. Yes, I like cooking (I bought a full set of pans and pots before my first car) and quality tools like that makes it easier. Regarding your new year revolution, it's hard to tell if you'll be granted...

 

@vid: me I'll try to gain 20 pounds... Walking like you did is a nice way to loose it btw.

 

@Voar Tok: the only resolution I'm taking is not taking resolution. Just by saying so, I can't realize it so my conscience feels better when it's time to be wild on other things...

 

@MsD: instead of ordinary rum in your cola, try speced rum insted. Much better!

 

@timotheus4: if you're patient enough, you can ask to be served by N_O_Body himself. Be aware that he often disapprove your choice of meal...

Very, very interesting. You know, I was just reading this book yesterday about... Well, you have to read it yourself. But the book depicts Europe as a frozen wasteland and the Western Hemisphere as desert. The book I read was set in the 24th century. It belongs to the Coyote trilogy, so you can go out and look for Coyote, Coyote Rising, and Coyote Frontier or go to allensteele.com and get them from Amazon.

Hi everyone! Yesterday, I began the preparation of my famous Sangria... The fruits took a bath of red wine the whole night and this morning, its taste was wonderful. I'll have to add another bottle of wine and sugar in a few minutes. That's how it looks actually, halfway to its top...

 

 

Hummmm, real home made Sangria... I'm sending a glass to everyone who's willing to taste! Remember: if you put another liquid than red wine in your Sangria, it's not Sangria.

I went driving for the first time Wednesday.

 

It was... interesting.  But, hey.  I survived it.  So did the car!

 

 

And I even managed to get the entire car into a parking space on the third try.  Mind, it was at something like a 70 degree angle, but it was in there.
