Sorry didn't see anyone say they had signed Czerkawski or see him on any rosters. I hate to push like that but I have issues with the RV Generals Roster all together so I'm trying to piece together what I can.. Also can we see some of the top FA's left out there.  Also Also Does anybody want Theoren Fluery?

On The Trade Block From the RV Generals

    Cory Stillman
    Jeff Halpern
I'm looking to move all three for a younger faster player
sorry if I sound angry I'm just bitter from a hockey game this morning(Stupid Officials and Camera Placement).

Hull wasn't retired at the beginning of the season, so let the man play!  Haha

If anyone's interested, here are the teams arranged according to roster strength.  The number was derived by finding the average of the team's player ratings, of course:
    1.  Binsur City Blue Stars  82
    2.  Yarmouth Wind 81.8
    3.  Orleans County Bills 81.37
    4.  Bend Black Lions 81.25
    5.  Elm City Batallion 81.1
    6.  Marceau Wildcats 81.01
    7.  Coventry Magicians 81
    8.  Bronco River BlackCats 80.8
    9.  Nova York Ice Warriors 80.6
    10.  Raging Bulls of Eureka 80.35
    11.  Doozerville Ice Demons 79.91
    12.  Rorysville Generals 79.9
    13.  Chesterfield Falcons 79.85
    14.  Westbrook Woodpeckers 79.81
    15.  Oakview Interceptors 79.6
    16.  Fairbrook Dolphins 79.57
    17.  Boondall Mighty Frogs 79.31
    18.  Pern City Dragons 79.3
    19.  Medaille Mavericks 79.21
    20.  London Knights 79.2
    21.  Ryushuka Rockets 79.1
    22.  St. Joseph Sea Dogs 79.05
    23.  Huntsville Hawks 78.7
    24.  Edmonton Jersey Devils 78.65
    25.  Duchati Ice Dragons 78.61
    26.  Amiton Aviators 78.6
    27.  CSKA Ilitj 78.59
    28.  Athenian Chauvanists 78.35
    29.  Earth City Jaguars 76
    30.  Monk Maggots (unknown, but will be the lowest)
Now, the Division ranks, according to the average of all team rosters:
    1.  Messier Division 80.71
    2.  Macinnis Division 79.95
    3.  Stevens Division 79.75
    4.  Francis Division 79.6
    5.  Hull Division 79.2
    6.  Lemieux Division 79.1
These numbers are subject to change of course, but most trades are for equally ranked players, so as long as the ratings for traded players are close, the averages won't change very much.

Ooo. Me likey. Even though this doesn't necessarily translate into results on the ice, it sure does look good. I'm happy with my team as of now, so no changes for me.

    Notes:
This was the first meeting between these two heated rivals.
Rafalski, Gomez and Gionta were lethal all night.
The Jersey Devils looked sluggish at first, but heated up in the 3rd period. Jet lag likely played a role.

Those Score updates look great Sens

I know I was being an A-Hole earlier but I put the teams into NHL06 on my Computer and The Generals don't work as well without Czerkawski

and for as good as Marceau's roster looks it doesn't gel the top 3 lines are at 50 for chemistry and the 4th line was at 40 that aint good. Another silly question what team was T.Fluery on on your game? I spent an hour trying to find him and had no luck

Also-Marceau Signs B.Holzinger(unless he is already taken)

again sorry for the Mean tone lately I was just upset with the Roster when I had 2 Players out of the League on 1 team(Lindgren,Fluery)

Also in Score updates-the RV Generals hosted the RV Pioneers of the RVPHL(Pics and Resluts to follow) and the Marceau Wildcats Met the Marceau Nordics of the RVPHL and Lost 4-3 in a shootout.

Sometime later tonight I might get around to typing out a list of all the teams' total chemistry. See what that looks like.

Also, I'm gonna hafta pull the free agent plug before the Holzinger signing. I came up with a new plan of attack I want to run by everyone before I run out of decent players.

My grand plan is that we all have a certain amount of cash at the start of the season. We could pay players salaries on a per-game basis (something that would still leave cash in the bank), and the rest we could use to have Free Agent auctions or include them in trades or something like that. It's just an idea that I'm going to throw out there, its by no means necessary, I just thought it'd be kinda cool to include a GM aspect to the league.

Also, as another note, the Regular Season is slated to begin tommorow evening (Unless I get really tired at work). It'll be in a new thread, so remember to look for it!

Thats sounds like it wll be overly complicated.

I avoid like th e plauge fantasy leauges that have salary caps. takes all the fun out of it when your best playes goes out for the season and you have no money to pay someone else to step in.

Yeah, since we're not betting any money here, let's keep money out of this as much as possible. Adding a salary cap makes the game far more complicated---especially for you, since you're doing all the work by hand!---so let's just keep it as simple as possible.

The draft and the trading has gone well so far, so let's just keep it streamlined and see how it works out.

And as for the Eureka exhibition game, that's what I'm talking about!!

I understand the Idea of pulling the plug but my problem is I'm not happy with the way the team's draft went and I'm trying to correct it I've tried a few trades but they aren't getting me where I'm aiming. And who ended up with Czerkawski?(yes I'm still on about that)

I think you have done a great job so far.

As for the issue of Salary Caps and Monatary issues I think that might be a bit too much.

Unfortunatly It would only get uglier as the RV Pioneers would win it 6-2

Sloppet-I sure did know Czerkawski is from Poland. If you look at the RV Generals xanga site you'll see a Roster with thier Birthdate/Birtplace and Height and Weight for every player on the Generals Roster.

Attatched is my Excel sheet containing my schedule. I don't know if any of you can figure it out, but each cell contains the date of any game between 2 teams. The number is the day, the letter is the time of day. The teams on the left are the home team, the ones on the top are the away. For example, the cell that says 2P with Westbrook on the left and Elm City on the top would be Elm City @ Westbrook, Evening start. Just thought I'd toss it out here.

Also, later tonight I'll start the new STHL Regular Season topic. It'll contain the pregame drama of the first games, which will be simmed tommorow afternoon. Until then...

The Edmonton Jersey Devils comeback to beat there hated rivals the Boondall Mighty Frogs. The Devils top draft picks played a major role in the teams win.
This should be the first win in many vs Boondall.

Anyone looking to make trades PM me.

Sens as for the Number being the Day how does that work? would 29A be 2/29-Evening Start? or the 29th day of the season? or is it something else? I got everything else figured out though
