Are you going to add an Jodeling-club? 17.gif

That is stereo-typing

I know, there was to be a 18.gif smilie there, but it is gone somehow42.gif.

Anyway I have a qeustion for EJC, why is your traffic on the left-side of the road?

Ther are some great eye catching pictures in this region. the region view is very realistic. I can respect that alot. And  the European style bats look great. This region really gives the feeling I think your looking for. Only a page long and I found myself looking at this CJ for some time. Keep up the updates.

@ Jasperdeman.nl I know the traffic is left-hand driving. I've installed SimCity in English because Dutch Language looks so funny and strange... I once tried to get it to the correct side of the road but when I followed the instructions from this site SC crashed always and cities were lost!!32.gif

So that's why I keep it on the left side of the road22.gif

@JerseyDevil Especially for you a view from above on Innsbruck because I just admire, adore etc etc your Edmonton Region; it's just unbelievable you managed to get this far35.gif So; I hope you like this view44.gif

AerialShot from the largest City; Innsbruck(South-East Angle) Clearly Visible the Trainstation, Innsbruck HBF, with it's large Entrance Hall and Railyards in front of it. A little bit to the left the Leisure Park with a new Tower that gives a view over the entire valley of Innsbruck.

Now I'm going further with this city; Enjoy meanwhile!!44.gif

I like how the cities are nicely tucked away in the valleys, and the scenery of the region. Driving through there would be fun.10.gif

    CONGESTION

In the southwest of Innsbruck a bridge of the river Inn has been so congested that the people can't get from the Western to the Eastern parts of the city.

    /idealbb/files/zoom_bridge1.jpghttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files/zoom_bridge1.jpg>
Updated Transport Map of the City

That's why City Hall decided to double the lanes within the strict limitations of space.. Although some building had to be removed, unfortunately for the owners.

    /idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Bridge1.jpghttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Bridge1.jpg>
Old situation with single lane each side over the Railline and the River Inn..

    /idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Bridge_works1.jpghttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Bridge_works1.jpg>
The goal was to minimize the delay for the trains, that's why they have chosen to cut of the complete road for some time to get is faster done..

    /idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Bridge_Fixed1.jpghttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Bridge_Fixed1.jpg>
Heres the new situation with a new avenue that submurges with the old boulevard and it's LightRail Line between it..

On the other side of the river, there's a really congested onramp of the HighWay with a road to the south of Innsbruck: (picture below)
    /idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Road1.jpghttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Road1.jpg>
Here you can see how unbelievably many people use this road :-o

    /idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Road_Fixed1.jpghttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files/Innsbruck_Congested_Road_Fixed1.jpg>
And the road and Highway-connection fixed with High-Capacity Avenue..

I'm trying to get Innsbruck less congested; Mayor Rating is dropping FAST :-) So got to solve the problems!!

    Innsbruck Ost

Todays tour will be along the Eastern parts of Innsbruck
    ..

    Innsbruck_Ost_Cinema.jpg
Old Cinema on the avenue with LightRail along Innsbruck 2nd largest park. Also visible the Northern connection to the center on the other side of the river Inn.

    Innsbruck_Ost_Palais.jpg
The large palais and it's gardens in front of it. It stands in an old neighbourhood of Innsbruck with narrow streets and small plazas giving it a real authentic European feeling..

    Innsbruck_Ost_Zoo.jpg
The most Eastern parts of Innsbruck. With trainstop Innsbruck Ost - Zoo. They want to expand for many years but on this location it is impossible because it is jammed between the railline and highway to Schwaz.

    Innsbruck_Ost_Middle.jpg
This old palace is between the old centre of Innsbruck Ost and some new housing projects along Highway A13. Many tourists come here for the many exebitions organised here..

    Innsbruck_Ost_Intersect.jpg
Here is the busiest intersect in innsbruck Ost. With connection of avenues into the center and onramp to the Highway A13. on the bottom the railyards of Innsbrucks Main Station; Innsbruck HauptBahnHof..

    Innsbruck_Old%20Factory.jpg
Here a closeup from the highrise towers on the previous picture. The city of Innsbruck want all heavy industry to move out of the center to the outskirts but still there are some to use the railnetwork... Gonna be moved soon2.gif

    Innsbruck_Ost_overview.jpg
And at last an overview-shot of Innsbruck Ost..

Hope you like this update... it has been a while!44.gif

Where? Feldkirch? Vorarlberg? I'll go there on ski-vacation.

And ejc, your work is again amazing. I like european looking cities. But are you going to do Holland?

    @flrscf
I've started a Holland CJ some time ago. But because there weren't many European looking BATS I've stopped because it was very frustrating to get those all-American buildings!! Maybe in the future I will continue that region; now first finish the Alps!!!

    @Alkaola
    which rail things??17.gif

you mean the LightRail lines I guess?

that is a MOD but it's still in BETA I think...

you should look for in on ST; you'll find it44.gif

    Innsbruck_Landslide.jpg
A landslide rumbled down the mountains in the NorthEast of Innsbruck!! It just missed
some office space, luckely for the workers2.gif The road to the stadium is closed for
several days; that will be some congested roads with the first Homegame32.gif

Cya next time; greetz from Holland

    Greenish Innsbruck

Small update with some pictures of the woodlands surrounding Innsbruck and the park...

    Innsbruck_bundesbahn_tunnel.jpg
The highway A13 that flanks Innsbruck in the East. With tunnel entrance from Highway and Rail to the valley that leads to Italy.

    Innsbruck_Park_Sports.jpg
The Park of Innsbruck with Rodeo and football match going on here... Lots of Leisure for the people of Innsbruck.

    Innsbruck_Park_overview.jpg
Overview of the park with new Observation Tower. In forground  an abandonded office building. This will be demolished and replaced by a more up2date futuristic Office Complex.

Hope ya'll still like this CJ44.gif
