Water Graphics Glitch on Save

After saving a city, all the development along the water undergoes a weird graphics glitch (all sea walls, harbours, martinas, etc). It looks as if everything that is suppose to be under the water suddenly becomes completely opaque and jagged above the water.

I try to get the graphics to return to normal by switching between the underground view (subway or water pipes) and then back to regular view, but this does not work.

This problem may have been addressed in the forums somewhere, but I couldn't find anything after searching a while. I appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks.

This is due to the use of some water lots, including Maxis ones, which use overlay textures or unexisting textures.

To solve it go to zone graphics menu and go back to normal view.

I hope a pic helps. Follow the numbers 2.gif

Btw, the only solution to avoid this problem is to edit the lot and remove the base and overlay textures using the Reader or Datgen.

I've had the same problem...as it turns out, switching zones does fix the problem, however, it will still mess up the region picture after each save--since it saves before exiting the region.

Is there some way to make it so that the city's picture in the region won't be messed up?
