How to end a strike

I'm fairly new to playing this game but I don't think it is normal for the police strike to last 23 years worth of play.

The city built is under 70k people and I have several large or deluxe stations.  (This is the strike that has lasted 23 yrs.)

Another city I built has population of about 110k and both fire and health are on strike (about 2 years)

Every time I increase the funding in both cities nothing happens.

Please can somebody tell me how to end a strike

Wow! I didnt think strikes last that long! Anyway... try to increase funding to max. Also make sure they have other coverage areas in their area. If this fails, destroy the building and rebuild it. Your the boss.9.gif By the way, welcome to Simtropolis!!!!!!

No, MadMax is right. Increase the finding until its full, then they will quickly go away. Its a funding thing, they will NOT go away with time. Good luck!

sometimes funding doesn't help. that would be when a facility is overloaded. i'm not sure, do police go on strike if jails get overcrowded?

yes they will...try building the jailhouse in the city or more police station in the area

there are plenty of modded police station on the STEX...from very realistic ones...in game terms...to super radical ones that will cover your whole city with 1 station

try using the police coverage map...could have a wacky modded lot that causing a lot of crime ???

maybe ?  look for an area that has dark red

there are other resons for riots besides police coverage...could be low funding in any cicvic building, or the lack of them..there is a difference between strikes and riots

Welcome to Simtropolis ceaser17, I see that this is your first post.  If increasing the funding doesn't help then bulldoze all the police stations and replop them with max funding.  Check the crime map and make sure you have adequate coverage and you shouldn't have any more problem. 10.gif

i usually reduce the ambulance/bus fees of hospitals/schools and then increase the local funding to full and leave it for a year or so and then change it back
