I've been playing this game from day 1 and have never seen anything like that.  Since you just noticed it can it be assumed that had it been there for very long that you would have noticed it sooner?  If so, have you added any new mod or bat lately?  10.gif

I'd probably be banned again if I told you what thoses really look like...11.gif18.gif

but yeah I'd go with checking your mods or something...it could be the screen itself being VERY VERY out of focus....

I've seen them before in one of my coastal cities; I just assumed they were buoys.

pretty sure that is what they are, as well. they've been seen many times before - in fact, there was a thread concerning them ages ago, long before most modifications had come along, and before the existence of bats and lots.

Also I forgot to say that they disappered one at a time about every 5 sec.

As for downloads I never seen them before until today when i downloaded a few things for SG canals.  Also those are  the only ones that appeared in my whole city.

Well if they dissappear then atleast the ugly things vanished, but if they reapear then raise the land up and then raise it back down to water level and maybe then you'll be rid of them....

And ... I've never seen them before and have no idea where they would have come from.

It is unlikely that they would be buoys. Buoys don't come in that colour. Buoys have three fundamental colours, green , red and white. Black is sometimes used for emphasis, or in some systems of buoyage. My guess is that they could be defrocked nun buoys.

ok, here we go again........These are from Maxis and are in the original  RH game. I don't know WHAT they are supposed to represent but they appear shortly after the tugboat. So ,most of us have decided that they are buoys.

Sometimes they appear in a bunch like this and sometimes they are in line with several of them.

    Hope that solves it.....2.gif

theri bumper buoys...the tugboat lay them down around ship when moving them into dock so they don't colide with other ships or bump to hard into the docks..also to let other ships and boats know that the ship may be moving sideways (most ships don't do that themselves)....though I think Maxis started with them...then they got forgoten about and now accidently show up from time to time in your game
