Error using SC4 Tool to alter Lots

Hello, I don't know where to ask the question, so I'm here.

I have a problem with BAT value changing. I made a BAT with BAT4Blender and I'm using SC4Tool for chaning BAT values or something.

But when I click save button, the error window pop up.

And the changes are never saved... The icon change is also not saved in SC4Tool.

So I tried to use 'ilive_reader093' program but I don't know how to change the icon in the program(I can't see the button to change the icon.).

Does anyone know a solution?

I moved your post here, since it isn't really about BATing, the process of creating the model itself.

SC4 Tool can be very picky about data files, there is something it doesn't like in the file you are trying to save. It works still, but is a bit outdated and it's most useful for TEing lots, the process of making functional stations.

iLives doesn't have a 'Change Icon' button, the process is more complex, essentially you have to 'Insert File', select the PNG to use, then after import copy/paste the ID from the default Icon to your custom replacement. If working with many icons, there is a more automated way of importing many files at once and giving them their correct IDs in the process, but you have to create a simple script with the necessary metadata for it.

If you want to make Lots and customise them, I would recommend using SC4PIM. It is a powerful replacement for both the Maxis PIM and Lot Editor programs that does many things they can not and makes a modder's life easier. For example, it can both create custom icons from a Lot Preview or allow you to insert a replacement PNG into a lot, (readme explains how). Using it you can go from an exported BAT, to using your model as a Building or Prop, to adding that to it's own or existing lots in the most efficient manner.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Oh, Thanks for letting me know I wrote at wrong thread.

I tried PIM before, but for some unknown reason, SC4Model files which made with BAT4Blender are not showing up in PIM list. (The files show up well in PIM-Extended so I made .desc and .lot files with it.)

Someone recommended using LEProp and the program saved my BAT's values without errors. I think the problem is solved.

    Thank you! :>
