Hey all,

Just checking out the club features. Thought we could announce new uploads of found content here...

I know it's not first, but I've uploaded a file that I had from an older Japanese site, Vagrant Store, that linked to content items on OneDrive that are no longer available. @SC4 gamer asked about in the Can't Find It topic. I do have another half-dozen or so items from the same site that I'll probably get ready to upload as well.

It seems like only those two are missing now.

And I think the Vagrant Quantum Lab I have is a newer version. (according to readme, the version is 1.01) The Date Modified of some files is 2010-11-17.

Yes, I have both plus a few others. I'm working on checking them out and will upload.

I'll check it out. I notice that it is a .z01 type file. I've usually converted them to a .zip when I find them. I don't remember if I did that with mine or not.

.zip and .z01 are just split compression beacause of the Max size per file on the simtropolis post. Original file was one zip file.

Not sure. The Lot files that I have were dated a couple days earlier, but all others were the same. I didn't notice any difference in the game.

By checking them with reader, there was very niche difference.

Both monthly costs are reduced, the capacity satisfied value of the mainlab is changed, and the landmark effect value/the park effect value of the railgun are bigger.

I saw them listed (that's probably how I found them the first time), but except for the updated Volkshalle public hall, they were only available through the 'Home' button. But the the 'Home' is the Vagrant Store which isn't functional. Maybe I'm just not seeing them...?

In the meantime, I uploaded Vagrant's two power plants.

But the Vagrant Fog Engine Power Plant is not there. Maybe my memory is confused.

edit: 霧機関発電所 is the Fog Engine Power Plant. My brain was messed.

Ah, I did see that one. There was a link on the other (newer) site, but I didn't bother doing much checking because it said it was an older site. The newer Power Plant probably came later and was not put on the older site.

 

Uploaded the diagonal version of the Nico Nico statue and the Volkshalle building since they're no longer on the newer site.

Actually, Diagonal version is on the SimCity Force. Anyway thanks a lot!

Hi! So...some years ago, I made site copies of many regional sites using Cyotek WebCopy, a utility similar to WinHTTrack. And in cases where Cyotek WebCopy didn't download the .zips, I grabbed whatever I was able to grab! Do you think that anything here would be useful? I could always zip it all up and put it on Google Drive or similar!

Edit: The Japanese sites were found through the old post on the SC4Devotion forums. I made copies of the sites in the original post that were still up. I've excluded my copy of Moonlinght/Moonlight's page, which was made using "save as HTML" Google Chrome extension, but it looks like Moonlinght/Moonlight's content is all taken care of.

Sure thing! I'll edit this message with the Google Drive link to the .zip once the Internet outage in my area is resolved.

I think I searched for .zips in some of the website copies like SimCity Plaza and copied them to another folder...because there's no way that I individually downloaded everything. The .zip is going to be about 19 gigabytes.

Edit: In case any images or other resources are needed, my .html copy of Moonlinght's webpage will be included. I just felt uncomfortable including it in the screenshots because I've since moved to a better Chrome extension for saving .html files of webpages. It's called SingleFile. Before using SingleFile, I was using Save Page WE.

I'm creating a new post for the purpose of creating a notification. 

I don't have a paid plan for more Google Drive space, and I've been having difficulty paying my monthly Proton Unlimited payment for Proton Drive. Lucky for me, though, Microsoft 365 is free for college students for one year in the United States due to a government grant promoting AI education. Anyway, here's the OneDrive link!

Passing along an FYI... I've been checking out the files from @ragutaro and noticed a few things, namely the Station Building, BusTeminal, and the Service Area.

 

The older, original file attachments don't appear to function correctly in the game. The updated, newer files do. Also, the older nonfunctioning files are some of the same ones that already exist on the STEX (as well as some others from Ragutaro).

@pikachu_SQ, maybe we should remove the attachments that don't appear to work and replace the existing STEX files with those that do? Might save some confusion. Just a thought...

If they are the same files, then we should update the STEX files.

I uploaded old files for future-proof of shutdown of SimCity Force.

Sure, that makes total sense. My main concern is about releasing older versions that may not function along side the newer ones that do. I ran across the same issue when I was updating Peg's older material.

Yes, you are right. I will add a warning message, something like "Do not download it.".
