Hi folks, not sure what's happened but I appear to be missing roadside textures along agricultural zones?

Now:

Any ideas how this might have happened and how I could fix it?

I believe there is a mod which deliberately does that.

Have you installed anything recently which has the word "sidewalk" in its name? (I don't use said mods so I'm not sure which does what.)

I was trying to install rivits SAM4 Override - NZ Gravel and thats when I realised they were missing, so I proceeded to remove rivits plugin (thinking this was the issue) but nothing changed. So, I then reverted to a back up I made a few hours ago and it was still the same. I'm really unsure. I searched 'side walk' in my plugins folder and this is all it found:

Same for me. Also look for files with "MGB" in the name as he's created a lot with fantastic road side tweaking.

Other than that, we'll just have wait for the experts as that's the limit of my guesses.

I also don't know which mod causes such a problem, but like Corina said, the most likely reason for this is that you might have installed any other mod that intentionally does that. I think you should try to think about which mods you have installed in the last days or weeks, between the time when you last played this city and everything was fine, and the time you noticed this issue the first time.

Edit: I also quickly looked into the New Zealand Gravel Streets mod files and can definitely rule it out.

There's also another way to find out the offending plugin. I call if Half-Plugins-method, it has sort of a fan a name but I can't recall it exactly.

    1. Start an empty region, start a new city, pause it, drag a few streets/roads with agricultural zoning, nothing else, save and then quit.

    2. Create a backup of your current Plugins folder somewhere.

    3. Remove about half of the content of your Plugins folder and then see if the dirt sidewalk is still gone or if it's back: If it's back, the offending plugin is in the other half of the plugins. If not, it is in the currently installed half of your plugins.

    4. Install the one half of your plugins containing the offending plugin and cut it again in half. Proceed with this strategy until you can narrow it down to one plugin. Also, use a bit of common reason to find it out; a downloaded hospital is very unlikely to contain files with alter the dirt part that is issing (the so-called sidewalk).

Thank you so much for this tip! its helped me narrow down the problem to one of the following in screenshot.
