I really don't get what is going on

Hi, 2 days ago Windows 11 updated itself, one of those minor updates that forces the notebook to restart a couple of times, and after so I noted the game started being slow as hell. When I move the mouse in the main screen to choose a city it just gets stuck, same happens when and if I manage to open a city, I could be playing and the game goes black out of the blue, minimizing does not seem to be an option anymore. 

Do you have any ideas/suggestions that won't force me to go back to an older version of the system? Nothing new seems installed, all the options are fine, it does take a couple of seconds extra to open. If I were to guess it would be a graphic issue by all the signs but I had all the plugins installed, the options for Dgvoodoo 2 didn't change.

You might need to focus on your graphics options, if the game has video issues while playing.  You'll probably need a hardware wrapper:

Yes, all of them. I really putting of uninstalling the game and starting from scratch again.
