Wow nice catch. It seems indeed an other APTX upload which were not available for sure before, as it is not on the HaS site either. Where did you find it? Could you please copy the original readme text with the japanese characters here? My windows turns the whole text into unrecognizeable characters and letters in the readme.

I think it has been completely lost with 新丸の内ビルディング (Shin-Marunouchi Building) and some buses.

At least, I can't find it on Korean fansites.

Hi,

I've been following this and have been frantically searching... So far, I have not come up with anything that hasn't already been found. I will admit my Japanese files are a bit of a mess due to having some upload things to different sites. Also, I've noticed that some of the dates in the images above pre-date my becoming aware of all the different Japanese websites, so I may have missed the older material. If some of the missing APTX items were only on a site he had independent of the others, then I'm pretty sure I won't have those items. I don't think I had discovered his site before it was closed down. I'll keep looking and post if I do find something...

I can't find it. It seems to be one of the two cases below.

1) The page or download was on APTX's second website, but it was not archived because APTX used the Flash.

2) The page or download was on APTX's first website (http://bbs5.cgiboy.com/p/08/01634/), but unfortunately archive shows nothing.

But the image survives. The above (flickr) image.

Ah, I think that building was never released nor finsihed. If it had been, APTX himself would have uploaded it to HaS when he restored much of his work on that site... Based on the city image it was still unfinished (the roof was not done yet). It's sad, because looks really great...

@Gobanboshi replied to my email, sadly Gobanboshi doesn't have those old APTX files either. IIRC APTX lost those files and when they finally rehosted the collection on the HaS site, they were not able to recover those. The last one was the Toyoko Dept. Store El-Rail Terminal that got rehosted and that was luckily in Gobanboshi's plugins folder, that's how they managed to save it. Honestly I'm out of ideas. We could ask Tadasu (though he has been retired from SC4 for ages and I don't think he kept the files), maybe uki-sim could be contacted or BriPizza or @moonlinght.

However if we have a better topic or if someone (@pikachu_SQ) could create a thread which would contain ONLY these posts (like the quoted one with the missing APTX contents) with the missing contents and nothing else (no additional discussions or comments etc...), that would be great because eventually even the post will get lost about the missing stuff...

This topic consists of several posts from the Can't Find It topic that concern files from te Japanese creator APTX. Over the years, some of his material has gone missing as itgets migrated from various locations. The posts are being palced here as a way to keep them organized in one place and to preserve the discussion up to this point.
