A question about scale

Hi!

I'm currently Batting several stations along the Ore-line in Sweden. The Question that struck me is how should i think about scaling 1 storey buildings. When Batting larger buildings this issue is not as complex since the "lobby" area is usually 5 m. The reason i though about this is that my stations are small compared to the Maxis station which i find to be overscaled.

Here´s an example of what im talking about if it makes things more clear. I Now want to hear your take on the issue.

I do everything with real world scale, and then scaled vertically 133%.

It's true that the building will look small compared to other things in the game, but if it's a small building, then looking small is correct.

A lot of small things in the game, like props, have their sizes exaggerated in order to make them more visible, and so at the street level in the game, there's a lot of inconsistent scaling. But if the environment is already inconsistent, then what you make will not match everything no matter what you do, and so imo it's better to just keep it accurate.

Also, it takes less thinking to just make it accurate.

btw, the BAT looks very nice. :)
