'Hello all!  had to purchase a new computer. I have the PCCA Wine Shop and Restaurant file. For some reason, the buildings aren't showing up. I saw a comment that this had happened to another user. Any thoughts?

Do you have the bldgprop files in your Plugins? If no other dependencies are listed, it might be using Maxis items included in those files.

Sometimes they're not listed as dependencies because it is 'assumed' that people have them.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I found the bldgprop files in the Maxis subfolder in the Plugins folder. I copied them to the parent folder. Is there some other place that they need to be?

It shouldn't matter as long as they're in your Plugins folder somewhere. If the 'Maxis' folder you mentioned was in your Plugins, that should have been good. The only way the buildings would not show up for me was to remove the bldgprop files out of the Plugins altogether.

Is this what you are seeing:

Actually, I'm seeing nothing except the floor layer.

I did open the program and plopped it in place, and it looks fine. I need to find one of the instances where it was created as a growable and check it out, but so far so good. Thanks again!

Oh... If you've had it 'grow' and just showing an empty lot, it might be a victim of the 'empty lot' issue given the age of the lot.

I looked on the list of known items and found it listed (Link). This is a result of the way some very early custom content was created - before all that is known now was known. You can read more about it in the linked topic. There is a way of fixing it if you want to go about it.
