Close-ups from Lora Flats (see sig). To be more precise : close ups of the 'Little Paris' neighbourhood, in the heart of the downtown area.

ilikehotdogsalot: Amazing work! The city itself is incredible, and the photoshopping lifts it to stunning.

Probably the best parisian city i've seen so far on the site.

Ilikehotdogsalot: Wow! Paris looks just like that! nice mosaic!

the only thing is there is a metro station in front of the arc de triomphe in real life, and theres a lot more open space but nonetheless great scene and I could not have done better.44.gif

giorgos: Wow! that is very European! my only complain is that there are too many skyscrapers but I guess that makes it unique!4.gif

Well I would like to contribute to this thread, after all,  nobody beats europe when it comes to:

    1.bad city planing(except maybe the Americans9.gif)

    2.Beautiful architecture

3.The harmony of the old and the new

    4.just having the best cities!

Heres a shot from Maybury High Street in Harlesden on a calm Sunday morning, Harlesden is a London-style city im building, come check it out in my CJ! : 4.gif

    17017150.jpg

As you can see, Gascooker's whit swan pub pops up more than it needs to, can anybody tell me how to increase the amount of Gascooker's high street buildings being grown?

    I have SC4 tool if it helps9.gif

Heres the new embankment being built on the river Harlesden , this hasn't been sown on my CJ yet:

I've got some great ones to show you. This city actually isn't in Europe, it is in Russia, but has many European influences because it used to be owned by Lithuania, but was given to my nation, the United Atlantic Provinces, as a gift of peace. It is a war-torn city, but the UAP is working hard to improve it. These pictures were actually take for the Simlympic Bid, but the UAP is still debating as to whether or not to put in the bid. They may wait until the Simlympics after the December ones.

And apart from these does anyone else have anything different than the fancy utopian images or what? (Except from ferox, his city looks sweet and varied!)

Bring on the grime, modernness and uglyness!

Yeah, that last one kinda reminds me of South Sheilds (part of Newcastle)

Although... I don't think they have generous proportions of garden like that... terraced houses in the that ares are packed as tightly as posssible...

Cool avenue intersection. Nice use of diagonal streets, adds to the Euro theme.
