I have an industry next to an residential / commercial / industry city and the sims won't commute to the neighbour tile with industry in it. I have rail and avenue connections to the new industry city mostly containing dirty and manufacturing industry.

We'll prolly need pics of the city tiles to help with this. *;)

Often times it's the placement that makes a difference. Like are those Sims commuting to a different connected tile than the one you want or all simply staying in the current tile?

And can we presume the industry is already grown in the adjacent tile? If so, does the other side of the avenue connect to ways for the Sims to get to the jobs?

Yes but the sims want to work in current tile. Would I have to run the simulator for a while to achieve the fact sims would commute to next tile. From residential industry city.

I downloaded modified irm to work with CAM from slightlyslack could that be the issue..

Ah! Then there is no problem with the simulation. Sims prefer jobs closer to them so if you want them to go next door, you'll need to take away the job opportunities in the current tile.

Thx. Btw it seems the sims have found the next tile over after I ran the simulator for a bit in the next tile over with residential/industry.

Could you zoom in on that? It kind of looks to me like that's showing infill mech/out lots. The 4000 jobs might be the whole block total if using the traffic query to get that number.

Thanks for the zoom in. *:)

Now I can see that is just base textures. Unfortunately, I don't know, but you could edit your CFI post to include that pic and it'll prolly help the experts to have an idea.
