Change default city sizes

I downloaded a customised map tonight to try something different from my usual Florida one. However, the city sizes seem to be all different - some small, some large. Is there any way to make them ALL large (as per the highlighted yellow one on the map attached)? I dunno how I did it with my Florida map but they're all large on that one...or is it something done when the map is created?

(Also when I load a city it goes back to the default colours - any way I can make it this cool dark green etc?)

To change the city tile sizes you need the SC4 Mapper, that edits the region from outside the game. Remember that this modification is destructive: if you change a city, everything that was built on it is lost. We recommend to make a backup of your region before using the Mapper.

For the ground colour, what you are looking for is a Terrain Mod. Our admin Cori did an index of almost all of them, here:

After installing them, they will activate separately on each city tile, so to get a consistent region view, you will have to open each city tile and save it.
