How to get confirmed for discord?

I have joined the discord but I can't see anything.. Can I get help to get confirmed?

I believe there is a set 10 minute delay from the time of joining Discord. Then there's also the need to sync your account from ST. Here's the guide for what to do: Joining the Simtropolis Discord Chat
