MACOS Mojave and Control X

Hi

since I installed Mojave on my Imac clicking Control X opens the little window on the left of the screen as before I type the cheat name but pressing enter or return nothing happens, the cheat "word" stay in the window and nothing happens. 

Is there something I should install to use the cheats again? If yes where? most instructions are for Windows and I am on a MAC

Disclaimer first: I've never used a Mac so I've really no idea if this works.

However, the Tutorial for SC4MacInjector & Ways to use it has a part about the Extra Cheats DLL.

Try to type it when you are in your city, the cheat is not working in region view.
