so, this will be my first city journal ever...yay! I recently got to work on a region titled atoll, that is a set of islands somewhere off the west coast. the islands themselves are rather small, but have mountainous areas, as well as some rather large plains, the main city named Stirling is located at the heart of the atoll, and is named for the really talented and gorgeous violinist Lindsey Stirling. it is currently a growing city of about 90k people on 6 islands, and as it is the largest city, it has an airport, as well as a seaport, marina, freeways and a growing bus system. soon, it will have a convention center, and hopefully a major league stadium. the city is also neighbors with the towns of Sierra Del Mar that has roughly 4,000 people, and Crescent Cove with roughly 2,500 people. obviously i'm going to have to get some pics for ya...and i can't wait to show you all the work i've done so far in crafting a nice city.

Yep. It's kind of one of the hidden guidelines of this particular forum. When you get a chance please edit in at least one pic into your first post. *;)

Don't panic, we won't be going crazy over this, so just adding a pic sometime soon would be great. I'll even remove the quote of you and my comments here once you get that done so this won't be here later to detract from your Journal.

Great. How about I remove all these interim posts now so it'll just be yours and then real replies?

to update all, here are some pics of stirling...featuring the neighborhood of Lindsey, and Beachwood aka North Stirling.

the first pic is of the Martin soccer Stadium, and its surroundings.5c6f767592417_Stirling-Apr.2391550730956.png.201e9646af79e1ade64c00cdcb1ff926.png

and here is a shot of the commercial district, along Melody Ave. at Highland Dr.

and a wide shot, showing how big this suburban area is. i didn't use rrw freeways because i find them very tedious if not impossible.

the next area i will feature will be the city's industrial district, millwood .
