Just wanted to post and let you know that they now work for me!!! Thank you so much!!!

By the way, is there any chance you could make the TE-Road lot with the default texture rather than the Euro texture?

What's the transit enabled road and rail for? I've read the readme but unfortunately I still don't get it. There doesn't seem to be a wall involved with them.

Okay, I'm not a stupid person; let's get that out of the way first.

I cannot figure out how to do the sunken highway walls. The underbridge piece looks exactly like a regular 1x tile wall piece, and no matter how I turn it, it will not cover anything other than the space I plop it on. I'm following your tutorial on the previous page, and I imagine something's changed because my pieces are named differently to begin with. These certainly don't work like the ones for your old walls did.

This kind of sucks, because I've demolished every wall in the region preparing to use these. That took a LONG time and now I can't replace them.

edit -- I re-installed it and for some reason it started working.   So if anyone else has trouble, I'd try that first.

Jeronij: I hate to kept bothering you with this but after downloading the revised Textures, Props and Walls and taking every other download out of my pluggins these still do not appear anywhere.. its got to be a Mac or a File Juicer thing. I ask you patience in helping me with this. The Props folder has 20 Model files and 15 Desc files along with 1 "Arrows" DAT file. The Textures folder has 5 DAT files 1 for each wall and 1 "Various Transit Textures" DAT file. The Walls folder has 45 Lot files. is this all correct?" am I missing something? again thank you for all your great work and help. JPJ

    Hello to all,

I am glad to see that the new version is working for most of you !!!. You are right, the tutorial must be updated, and I will do it as soon as posible.

Dussin, I am glad you got the walls to work now. The TE pieces are for bridges where you can not use the standar underbridge pieces. There are probably some aditional TE pieces needed, but this belongs to a future update. USA paints TE pieces, avenue bridge TE pieces, ground highway TE pieces and so on...

buddybud, I am not sure yet how you LODs work...mmm...but they work !!! Thanks for sharing them and PM if you want me to email them back to you ;-D

JPJ, I am sorry, I have no idea what can be happening. Unfortunately I dont have a Mac to test the lots in :-(. You seem to have all the needed files except the Yellow Fences, but this one would not hide anything from any menu. Only you wont see the fences or you would see some brown boxes. I´d suggest you to ask someone in the Mac section in this site if they have the same problem or not. Maybe you could find an answer there ?¿.

Also, I have used negative Item Order values for those lots to be placed in the menus. Do you think you can open one of the lots with Ilives Reader or Datgen and change its Item Order propertie value to 1 for example ?¿. If the lot shows now in the menu ( not in the first positions of course) then this is the problem: The Item Order value.

If the lots does not show anyway, then again I have to say I have no idea why they dont show up in the menu.

If you dont know how to change the Item Order Value, tell me and I´ll post an edited lot here for you to test.

Have a nice day all !!!

owenluby, make sure that you unzip the file and run the installer. Also you will need the texture and prop packs for the V2 walls.

    Hey all ,

I downloaded the "Walls v2" recently.( Superb job ! )

However , they randomly seem to appear upside down.Whatever i do , i just can't get them in place properly.

On one side the fence is in correct position , on the other side of the tunnel it only points towards the downside of the slope.

Same goes for the corners. One is correct , the other is face down :

    wallwrong015ck.jpg

    wallwrong023lw.jpg

I have the prop- and texture pack installed , as well as the "Jagged Edge Fix".Tunnel was created with "Hole Digging Lots v2".

As far as the corners concern there might be a left and a right package ( is there ? , or should i be able to rotate the lots manualy ? )

But this certainly won't be the case for the straight walls.Am i missing any dependencie , or am i doing something wrong here.

Hope you guys can help me out ,

    Ijahx,

To rotate lots, use the HOME and END keys on your keyboard.

    -Swamper77quote>

Thnx a rotating LOT Swamper 77.

I spent much time figuring out why oh why i couldn't get these walls in place.

Placing roads first hoping they would automatically adjust , deleting tiles , flattening terrain over and over.

And then it turns out to be 2 lousy keys ...haha.

Anyways ...thnx again for your quick reply.I'm off digging tunnels ,

wild_horse_in_the_sky: That's a new one, you'll probably have to wait for jeronij to figure it out...

But, just out of curiosity, what other mods (the major ones) do you have installed?

    tchaos713,

I don't thinks mods have anything to do with the problem this all started after I removed the first verison and installed the new one. Anyways FYI I'm using the nam and cycledogg's terrain mod.

    Thanks

Hello to all, I missed some posts !!!

owenluby, those lots are actually not compatible with the Mac machines. Unfortunalety we ( at the BSC forum) havent found a solution for this. We have made the lots show up in the menu, but the textures and props do not ?¿?¿

thanks Swamper77 and tchaos713 for the help ;-D

wild_horse_in_the_sky, I have no idea why this could happen, maybe you have the game paused ?¿. If not try to remove the file called "BSC Props Jeronij Vol 01 Arrows.dat" from your plugins folder. This will permanently remove the arrows from the game.

    Swamper,

The date is June 10th I did what jeronij suggested and the arrows disappeared thing was three different cities with three different dates and was having the same problem in all three.

Thanks everyone for your help in this matter.

    Hello to all,

Swamper is right. The props should only appear on the 1st of january. It is the same thecnique Simgoober uses for some of his lots.

Propably there is a conflict in mild_horse_in_the_sky

    Jeronij and fellow Mac users,

I think I may have figured out a way to get the V2 walls to work on Macs. Using File Juicer, all of the files in the V2 walls package have some kind of file folder structure in their filename. (Example: JRJ BSC New Concrete Walls Modern 1R\AA01 DW Cemento V1 1X NAM Lateral V22X_5142c943.SC4Lot)

The slash indicates that this file (AA01 DW Cemento V1 1X NAM Lateral V22X_5142c943.SC4Lot) should be included in a folder (JRJ BSC New Concrete Walls Modern 1R). I think this is how .zip files create their own folder structure when unzip-ing.

To make a long story short, I created the folder paths for all of the .SC4Lot files, changed the names of the lot files to only include what was after the slash, and moved each file into its correct folder. Magically, it worked. I now have the V2 walls in my Misc. Transportation menu and they work just as they should.

Someone else should check this to make sure I'm not some fluke. Also, I did not have to edit any of the .SC4Model files or the .dat files. Strange.

Hello Guido831, these are great news !!!

I hope someone else can try this and confirm it... but if in your machine works....well, it should work in anyone.

Could you post a pic of the final renamed folder structure. I could remake the file and upload a Mac Compatible Version ( that is a simply ZIP version without installer)

Here are two .jpeg files of my files. The first is the main "New Concrete Walls" folder. The second is an example of the renamed .SC4Lot files. Hope this helps.

Hey Jeronij!  great work, I use your stuff all over the place in my cities.  great seawalls btw.

anyway, I am having some issues with your latest concrete walls.

here is a picture of your walls on a good diagonal direction, notice how the bushes stay on the ground and the fencing is nice and proper:

    goodwalls0da.jpg

now here is the problem, if the diagonal is going in the other direction the fencing gets all mixed up and the bushes are floating in the air.  this is not very good for a CJ.  I have the jagged edges mod and cycle doggs terrain installed.  what could cause this and is there a fix?

arrrg! no fix, but it is a known issue... Perhaps I can still make use of them and just keep my screen shots away from the wonky floating shrubbery. thanks for the timely response.
