Glad to see Kbooms found someone willing to fling him/herself into the breach created when my home phone went offline.

Service is restored for the time being.

Sanity is another matter altogether.

Thanks for the hard work kbooms1w44.gif44.gif44.gif
I downloaded everything immediately except BSC BAT Props swi21 Vol.9 and 10. I got a 404 error. Is it me having problems or maybe the file is not there. Anyway thanks for your hard work for suplying us with these files. And please add my bitter thanks to the owners of the files who only create installer exe files. 9.gif
Cheers

I am going to be making some changes to the BSC Mac Archive today (Sunday, noon Pacific (Los Angeles) time).

If you find that a file won't download, no need to tell me now, everything will (should) be working properly soon.

I'll repost when I am done with my maintainence.

Hey Kbooms I have a couple questions. 1. Do you think you could put the CSX BAT Props vol. 4 on the bsc mac archive it is needed for the farms. Also I know this is probably pretty difficult but could you please make a list of all the downloads on the BSC mac archive needed for the BSC farms (not including textures and dependencies) I'm worried I may have missed some yesterday when I downloaded my farm stuff.

    1. CSX BAT Props Vol. 4 can still be DL'd from the STEX, it doesn't have an installer (anything pre-October 2004 should still be in Zip form at the STEX, unless it's has been updated, i.e SG's and DEDWD's recent upgrades...)

    2. As to your second question, I'm not sure I understand it, if you don't want a list of textures and dependencies (all of which are included in the FEP ReadMeJpgs.zip download), I'm not sure what you are looking for. Are you trying to be sure you have everything you need for a certain reward chain? Something else? Maybe your question is just going over my head because I'm a bit hungover...14.gif'); height=15 alt=Insert smilie 14.gif src=https://community.simtropolis.com/assets/emoticons/14.gif width=15 border=0>

I downloaded a bunch of SimGoober's real world restruants but there is grass where the parking lots should be. What prop file(s) do I need to download?

    I have...

BSC BAT Props MJB vol. 1-8
BSC BAT Props SG Vol 1
BSC BAT Props SG Vol 2-mac
    BSC PropPak MJB Vol 3
    BSC Textures SG Vol 1

and none add parking lots. What file am I missing?

There are 6 Base/Overlay textures that are listed (with links) in all of SG's Read Me files, you should download these, as they are used in many BSC BATs/Lots.

If you don't see parking lots, after you get those, let me know...

I don't even have the excuse of a hangover (I do so prefer the description I once heard in Shreveport from a temporarily misplaced Londoner, who claimed to be 'feeling perhaps a trifle *delicate*' after a particular notoriously booze drenched evening with some local musicians.).

I'm so utterly overwhelmed by Mega Packs/props/textures/dependencies revisions and 'updates' that trying to figure out what I have that now needs to be taken out versus what I have which now needs to be installed versus what I still need to have & install that I fear municipal operations Chez Cyn have ground to a virtual (ahem) halt.

    Arrrgh!

Cyn (Who can only hope that, lionization having somehow mysteriously failed to materialize during her late services to the Mac Archive, that she maintains enough good will to voice an occasional moan.)

Just so you know the Cheriton house is on the archive as BLS house instead of RLS so you might want to fix that.

Well I'm back among the 'groundlings' so to speak.

I've had the use of a DSL line and a PC at work to DL and install files to a PC SC4. No longer the case. At least for the immediately foreseeable future.

I was glad to help Kbooms with all those farm files and so forth (I think I packaged 60+ files all told) but since I can no longer do that, I'm going to take a vacation from downloads for a while to sort through, install and run this stuff on my Mac.

    Tootles.

    You're quite welcome, cher.

I just tried my bookmark to the Mac Archive and got 404'd - Ooops - wanted to check out 2.0.

    Nice work.

Have to update to the new URL, although I'm quite firm about staying on the DL wagon until I've managed to deal with my huge backlog.

    Please no Hurricane Cindy jokes...

Hey, thanks for doing all this. It's nice to finally be able to share in the stuff the PC guys have been enjoying for a long time.

Anyhoo, I'm having a little bit of an issue with Shorty Burger: it's just a big brown box. I thought I had all the prop stuff, but apparently not. Any idea what I'm missing?

EITHER the infamous bldgprop.dat files, 1 and 2, do a search within the Mac forum, and you'll come across links where you can download them, I think there is a french site and a russian site, OR you don't have the landmark models from Maxis. I can't remember whether Shorty's comes with any of the Aspyr updates or with RH. I know that doesn't completely answer the question, but that's the best I can do...

Anyone else been able to get Shorty's to grow using SG Maxis Landmark lots?

EDIT: Three of the landmarks, Shorty Burger, Lucky

Hey this is nice, thanks JohnnyBoy...
If kbooms1w won't mind, having more than one person converting those exe files might be a very good option. May be you guys can arrange something and upload the files to the same place.
    Anyway... Thanks for your efforts...
    Cheers

This isn't going to turn into a flame thread. It's especially ironic that you mention them being so 80s when they are constantly a full generation ahead of PCs at bare minimum. Perfect example is the fact that my Powerbook is over 2-1/2 years old and can still smoke most PCs, and is far from outdated or obsolete. I definitely suggest you check out Apple's website. If it doesn't change your mind, well, I will be shocked.....and disappointed in your objective reasoning skills. 2.gif
