First interstate bank in downtown Casper,Wyoming. Only a midrise but a clean looking building

If you want to talk about bad highway and road systems with in states, Wyoming scored the worst. All the highways scored poor to fair. Not to mention Starting from Rapid City to Casper Wyoming, about half way to casper on the shortest drive in about midwest, they have a sign that points the wrong way to casper.

Well, I live in a city of 50,000 people, lol Casper,Wyoming so its not going to be very big. Being the second largest in the state it attracts a lot of business. The plans ive seen right now are huge housing areas being cleared and preped. Downtown getting redone and facelifted, business park getting 3 hotels, a retraunt, and a secondary hostpital. The on the other side of town, getting a 2nd walmart, couple office buildings, a couple restraunts and more housing in that area. Then the mall is getting a small additon. The subbubs i think might get included in the bus system and a few factorys.

My home town Casper Wyoming, home of some 50,000 odd people. Though its not much of a skyline there are some buildings that are visable from most areas in the city.

Okay im joining in the topic late, and read most of it. I live in a medium sized town in Wyoming. 50,000 people live here and the downtown recently started to be reconstructed. Well, the plans are to work on this till 2008. The are just redoing the streets and sidewalks. Then there is a old bank building, been empty since the last economy bust. They are possibly making it into apartments. Here is the problem. The downtown area has a serious parking problem. One parking garage on the south area of downtown which is incovient for any one unless your going to in that area. Then on the other side of town, they just got down widening a intersection which sees large amounts of traffic. But now, they moved the construction to the south side of the road and to under the interstate. They are redoing the ramps. This has slowed traffic down from a 40 mph road, to 10 mph on a good night. Also, a few years ago, they finished a road, it was suppose to be 4 lanes, its also wide enough as is right now. But its painted 2 lanes. Terrible mistake since its a heavy used road to get from south to north in a few minutes. Construction is usually quick here, but the road gets redone in a few months so it becomes a pain sometimes.
