Screen Options, Map Themes & Flat Maps

Hi all,

I would like to know if anyone out there, knows how to either make the text on the screen clearer/bigger and easier to read and also make the screen darker as I struggle to see the boarder when I draw roads so that I know I am making the most dense space? Or, are there any setting in the general display settings on an Apple Mac to make the screen eaiser to read? Screen brightness doesn't make any difference and also the screen resolution doesn't make any difference either in game or general Mac settings.

Another option, does anyone know what the different map themes means in terms of colour/hills/shapes? 

Lastly, are there any maps that are perfectly designed to be flat and to create a perfect grid on and also which has a darkish colour to it so it is easier to see boarders when creating roads as the blue outline is hard to see on the bright green/yellow colour map?

It would be possible to make a mod that changes the colour of the grid.

I'm sure that there are flat maps, and map themes with intensive colours. Just search the workshop.

This map  Flatlands by Mulleboy  is completely flat. It has a river.
