Freeway Sign Requests

Well, I've just lost the ability to use the Lot Editor. I can still use the BAT and the Plugin Manager, but my ability to use the Lot Editor is gone.

I'm going to try a repair of my Windows installation (if I can find the CD!).

The bad news is that if that doesn't work, I'm going to totally lose the ability to create signs, as I'll need to do a complete reinstall (for about the fourth time in as many months! GRRR!) - and since the new hear has passed, gMax is no longer available.

I'm going to release the current signs AS IS (ie I give no warranty - express or implied ) so that they aren't lost.

At any rate, any future stuff from me will be in the form of props.

There's no custom description or anything, hence these are a BETA release, though there shouldn't be an issue from any usability standpoint.

Alexzero77:  those i can not do.  i don't have any gmax files for fast food restraunts.  if you go to the GHSDP thread and request that these be put into an upcomming model then i will be able to do them, but as of now i cannot, sorry.

 

A NOTE:  i was talking to some of the other highway request members and we think that it is getting a little confusing on how these requests are being handled.  with that, for now on i will only be creating signs that are ground level,  these ground level signs can have almost anything on them as long as it is in English and as long as i have the highway badge for it.  overhang signs, these i can make, but they are text only.  i cannot seem to get the highway badges to line up right on the overhangs, so they can be text only.  also please don't request one thing in this thread and then go and request it in another thread, this has happened only a few times, but still confuses me because i don't know who is going to fullful the request.  Thanks and any questions please PM me.

Alexzero - I think I may be able to take a crack at that sign.   It'll have to wait, though, as I'm already busy on a host of other projects.

I've used the base texutre from PEG's current generation of random tree lots for the sake of continuity. Not sure whether I'll release these or not - there'd be no models included though, because I forgot to save some of them before rendering. I'm also planning on doing a Service centre sign with symbols.

EDIT:  When you request a sign could you please do it in this format

User Name:

e-mail address(unless you want them released on the STEX):

type of sign:  ground or overhang(overhangs can only be done like the one in the picture above)

type of road:  interstate, US Highway, state road, etc.

direction of the arrow

exit number

and any other text that you would like. (city name, state, etc.)

Could you plese make signs that say dowtown tunnel keep left, a I-76 Los Antos Expressway keep right, an I-25 north bound keep left I-25 southbound Cape Hope keep right, a Carl Haven int'l airport keep right 1 km, an I-86 westbound keep right 1 km, A haven Mem. Parkway keep left, Los Antos international Port next exit, an I-33 southbound  stay right, A downtown Los Antos keep right next exit. and a Downtown Los Antos arrow pointing left annd right ant stright.      Thank you so much if you do that for me post it on Stex but just send me a private message on simtropolis before if you can.    CJ looks great i think i put in a couple of comments.
