Downloads on Mac HELP!

Hello guys,
I play Simcity since years but lately I discovered the LOTS and wanted to have a better streets and Highways.

I have downloaded the file but it is not working on my Mac, it said that it has something to do with _read only_ I don't know, I am a new user of Mac too.

can anyone help me to have the new streets and bus stations fixed in my simcity.

Well sorry, neither do I. Any chance you could trigger the message so you can tell us exactly what it is saying? That would give us more of an idea as to the cause of the problem.

Whilst most mods will work on the Mac Version, it's not as flexible as the PC one, some bugs were simply never fixed and limitations apply regarding the number of files you can have in your plugins. Note, that's literally the number of files, NOT the number of mods. Tools exist to Pack multiple-files into one, which are pretty much necessary if playing SC4 with mods.

Also, remember that a Mac is not a PC (technically it is, I mean running OSX is not the same as Windows), but most players/creators have PCs instead. If you download a .zip file or similar archive, you should be able to open it on your Mac. But anything that comes with an .exe installer will not work on your Mac. You need a third party tool to get at the files inside the installer package. More info on that here:

Does anyone know how many files that might be and what happens when that number is reached? I am on Mac (Steam version) and currently have 4 100 files in my plugin and everything seems to work fine. But I am curious if anyone knows the maximum limitation.
