Customized Map Theme Stopped Working with ND Update

The natural disasters update hit me really hard with creating all sorts of issues with my mods. So far, I managed to get just about everything up and running again (Thank You to all the modders out there for their rapid updates). One of a few issues I have not been able to resolve however, is that I had a customized map theme that no longer works since the update.

I modified FSF Ranger's Alpine theme some to make the sun appear more orange, and replaced the moon with Saturn's moon Rhea for my city journal Frontier City. Since the update however, whenever I load my city with the customized theme, it just reverts back to the base European theme.  What's more odd is that the original Alpine theme loads perfectly normally when I open the city with it. I had this issue before the natural disasters update, and could not load any custom map theme I made, even ones from scratch. The issue went away on it's own however, I never determined what I did to resolve the issue. The problem is now back.

I did do some research and did find that the resolution of the images being used for textures can sometimes create issue, and made sure the custom moon image was 1024 x 1024 in size, so I know its not the image resolution.

Another issue that may be related is that when I go into the theme editor, certain commands are frozen. For example I am unable to alter the base sky color or Rayleight scattering. Whenever clicking on the slider bar, nothing happens.

If anyone has any ideas and can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
