Game interrupted!

I play SC4 Deluxe on a computer with cable modem, meaning the internet is constantly on.

While playing, the game will simply minimize at any time it wants! An obvious cause could be spyware.

 

Has anyone had this problem, and can anyone help me with solving it? It's real annoying to have the game minimize in the middle of placing a road, or bulldozing a building, and return to have the road too long, or other buildings bulldozed that I didn't want. It gets worse when the cities are larger because it takes longer to re-maximize the window and load the game, especially on the default Intel videocard and 512mb of memory.

Well, as you said, it could be spyware so the first thing I'd do is virus scan the whole computer and delete any viruses or spyware the scanner finds, then try your game again.

I run McAfee Anti-virus and it can do auto updates anytime my net is up. This causes the game to minimize, so it can be a real pain. I generally get back just by pressing Ctl+Tab.
