How do I get a 4 lane RHW to cross water.  I have tried every bridge and combination of going from one side to the other, but I cant get it to build.  I only can get one to drag across and build when I do the remaining lane it just says that it cant build on this type of terrain.

you've gotta switch it back to an avenue or road to do a bridge or overpass.

I don't really use the RHW but you drag the maxis ground highway across to get a bridge and select RHW 4 , I've seen the options for it.

What @AprilAero mentioned is one of the options.  In fact, it's the only option if the two RHW-4s are directly adjacent to one another, as it's impossible to build two bridges directly next to one another.  If there's one tile or more separation between the two RHW-4s, then the base RHW-4 bridge will work.

select avenue, drag it across the water, select the RHW road 4 or the other RHW RD-6 bridge.

Those are for the Network Widening Mod (NWM). For RHW, you are better off using the Maxis Highway tool to drag the bridge out. Not to mention that the RHW bridges will visually link to the RHW networks nicer. By using the highway as the base network instead of Avenue, the bridge will work at the much faster highway speeds and likely have a higher capacity too.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

If you ever want to do an RHW-8 or RHW-10 bridge, you need to use the Maxis highway tool to drag out a bridge in each direction. With any bridge where traffic is one-way, you have to drag the bridge in the direction that you want traffic to travel in.
