Tonks, I think it might be the Z-u combination, I remember when EQ was having problems uploading the Zhang Ghee Centre because of the NDEX-Z combo. Try uploading it as Portsmouth Bank or something along those lines...

Ok after releasing the Landport Finance Tower completly unanounced i had better show you this, its pretty big compared to my usual BAT size so its new terratory for me, the picture is too big to post so i wll give you a link instead. It is called 4 Eastland Grand and will have nightlighting. http://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/newpreviewoof4eg2.jpg

I would also like to say a big thankyou to you all for getting both the Zurich and Landport buildings to star performer. Zurich House is my favourite Portsmouth Building so its great to see it at the star performer slot.

Also a big thankyou to Superstar for helping me with the camera rig on this new building.

While the Render is in progress on 4 Eastland Grand i have began making another midrise, notice the textures currently identical to zurich, this will be changed later. Also note the two roads, these will go later where the building will cross an avenue.

Those new buildings are just amazingly nice. This new building also interests me quite much.
I'm still curious about the airport you started with a couple of weeks ago. Is it still in progress or
did you gave it up? Hoope not. That was very good.

Things have to go wrong dont they, I DO have the script fix for BAT but when i render the Brenntian Life (i hav 3 times now on high quality) i still get the texture ID clash, i have tried reinstalling the BAT (script file too of course) but everytime i get the ID clash. Seems another thing that has to go wrong for me.

Heres a Building i made through the week (whilst trying to get the Brenntian Life rendered) It is the BTF (Brennt Thames Ferries22.gif) building, and has a nice shiny blue metal surface thingy i cooked up in photoshop. This Preview is at draft quality and i forgot to add lighting to the BTF sign (which glows blue by the way). Anyway this is nearly ready to render after a few minor adjustments to the building and the lighting. Hope to have it available by the end of the week, enjoy it!

Notice the awning looks really bad here, thats due to the quality of the render, it will look much better when rendered at hi q!

Is this going to be connected to a ferry terminal or is it just a office block?

Great series of realistic midrise buildings, congratulations! 44.gif

On that preview shot of the last building it looks like the roof textures are a bit too grainy, though. Is this due to the low render quality, too? If not, they might look better if you make them a bit smoother. Anyway, keep up the great work! 35.gif

Lord Betrum: No it will be a single building, ferry portsw are very difficult to make due to lodding issues.

T Wrecks: It is due to the low quality render, it is a similar texture to what i used on Zurich House and the Brenntian Life.

Ah, ok. Thx for the info. The texture on that Brenntian Life building sure looks good. However, I think it's a bit odd that there's such a gradient on the roof texture. IMHO, it would look even better if you would skin the roof, i.e. make a texture that has exactly the dimensions of the roof and then use some Photoshop filters on it to make it darker near the edges and lighter towards the center. Some stains & smudges could look great as well. Check 6459978.'s buildings if you don't know what I mean... Then again, I gotta say that I don't have a clue about how much work that is and if you need any additional programs. Just a suggestion, no criticism intended... I love your latest buildings anyway, for the simple reason that they look so realistically generic and average - just like most buildings in any given city. 1.gif
