How do you search on the exchange now?

When I try to search for bus stops, all I get are threads. Not any files.

Use the drop down next to search box to limit your search to just "Files"...

However, as the announcement at the top of the page warns, the search is still being re-indexed, so you will get few or even no results until the process is complete.

Funny thing about that tho. I have tried to search and when I click on "sort" it keeps giving me the "wait 8 more seconds" page.

I know it doesn't really answer your question, but I often find it's easier to search using google for SC4 content, it's simply more accurate.

I'm sorry in advance if I'm in the wrong place but I'm not sure where to go so I thought this thread was close enough.

Whenever I try checking for new SC4 BATs Lots, etc.  they (if any) are always mixed in with a bunch of uploads that were updated (which are fine) or uploads that were just updated or uploaded long ago, ("Updated 5 May 2004" or "Submitted 29 Aug 2009").  When I click on "New Content," "Files," "Only items I have not read," & "Since your last visit," all I get are a jumble of files.

The STEX I think is still in transition from the old site, hopefully with time these things will start to become more accurate.
