Unfortunately, most mods will need to undergo changes and updates themselves in order to be compatible. It is a necessary evil, but we believe the additions/improvements in this patch are well worth it!

Sounds like a lot of broken Mods and therefore save games coming up....

That does not surprise me. That's why I been taking it slow to make content. We all knew a major update was coming and that means changes to code which means likely broken mods. Though I commend the makers since launch, too many have flooded the workshop with content as though there's some race or something. Now we will see who will survive or who will have the patience and service to update their mods if the update breaks them. That includes content makers who will or will not update their stuff so players will have thumbnail icons in game menus.

You may not have to re-install.

    Guys.

Go to Steam -> Community -> Workshop -> Your Files -> Subscribed items.

Remove anything that changes the game mechanics (main mods).

I only have around 70 mods installed, including traffic management, (not the traffic++), no teleportation, AI mods like garbage collector etc, and the game works fine without issue with them installed.

However, if you used a manual method to install those mods, and not through steam, you have to keep an eye for updates. Otherwise Steam will update them automatically every time you opening it.

On the plus side, a lot of mod makers have been incredibly quick in updating their mods. Traffic++ has already been hot-fixed, along with many others. I'm hoping that these mod issues are all solved in a very short time =)

still works, although it modifies internal stuff that is not intended for Mod developers.
