Temperature:

16.4°C / 61.5°F

Weather:

Drizzle; overcast; high humidity (96%)

My least favourite weather... Although it's only 16.4ºC it feels a lot hotter with the humidity, and the drizzle doesn't help either... I mean, if it's gonna rain, JUST DO IT ALREADY....3.gif

Pleasant and warm currently, however I have been told it is not going to stay that way.

Disgustingly autumnal.  Only rains when I have to go out.

It was very cold this morning. Only 35F(1-2C). It was very foggy and ice formed on the roof of my car. Now it has warmed up to 62F(16C), and is sunny and nice.

Strong winds ease but some without power

22 September 2006 08:17

Strong winds across the country have eased this morning.

Overnight, winds of up to 120 km/h led to dangerous driving conditions with many roads blocked by fallen trees and other debris.

Parts of Co Clare near Ennis are still flooded and up to 5,000 homes in counties Wexford, Limerick, Donegal, Dublin and Meath are without electricity.

The ESB says it hopes to restore power to all areas by lunchtime.

The Ryder Cup got under way as scheduled this morning despite fears that severe overnight weather conditions might lead to a delay.

Mitchell Platts, the European Director of Corporate Affairs for the competition, earlier said all the necessary checks had been carried out at the K Club.quote>

Drove from here (Simcoe County) via Grey, and Bruce to Huron County today.  Left with cloudy breaking up with scattered sunshine, the overcast thinkened, spat a little rain, and was high cloud, no wind to speak of at Goderich (Huron County, Ontario).  The drive home was pretty much the reverse over the 220Km trip.

It was raining all night long here. But now it is over, and a cold front came through. It is quite pleasant outside.

We had breif tornado touchdowns east of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro due to cold air funnels. Nothing compared to what happened down south. But after an F2 in Rogers and multiple F3's in Nicollet and Le Seur counties in the past month (and one F3 earlier this year) and a tornado in Andover last year, this area is just getting sick of it. So far the highly populated areas haven't been hit (by anything significant anyway).
