Background:

Luka Island is a small island situated in the Indian Ocean. The Island was founded by a British Settler, James Sayshell,
who was on his way home from India to Britain, bringing back various spices and some slaves, on The Royal Hilda ship.
Due to massive storms, the ship became very badly damaged, and was forced to stop at the first piece of land they found.
Sayshell, spotted some mountains due south, and the people aboard, all set foot on the island, which they found was
extremely flat with a dense forest, and many rivers. The only highland was the mountains to the west.

Settlements:

The oldest settlement on Luka Island is Sayshell. It was founded in 1706 by James Sayshell.
Here is a picture of the northern tip of Luka Island, on which Sayshell lies:

Sayshell is the second largest city on Luka Island with a population of 45, 895. Most of the cities on Luka Island are quite small sized like this. It is filled with many old buildings of a mainly european style.

Sayshell is not the capital of Luka Island. We will move onto the capital, Valenta City at a later stage.

Here are some pictures of Sayshell, on the west side of the river Tinemo. This area is known as West Tinemo.

Graham Park, Silver Avenue and Hudson Street. The Mueseum of Northern Luka can also be seen in the top let corner.

This is Sayshell Central Station. It connects the city to other towns to the east, and Valenta City, to the south, which has Luka's
major airport, Valenta City International Airport, but more of that later.
