Well, I think the name says everything

By chance I found my SC3k this afternoon and simply put it into my DVD drive... and played

The city I've built today (and I gonna show you) is called Melbourne (nope, it's not the real one, I just took the Melbourne Map of the game, which I edited a bit)...


Melbourne...




Melbourne Downtown...


Melbourne Central Park...


Melbourne Int. Airport...


Melbourne World Trade Center...


The city's most noble place to live: Elemington...

Aaah ... SC3K ... The only version that I didn't bought as early as possible but nevertheless enjoyed it for a long time ...

Nice work with all these familiar highrises and the motorwayjunction where the sims cannot turn to the left ...

strangew thing: I had big difficulties when playing SC4 for the first time but now I get hardly a small SC3K town running ...

SC3K was cool, it had alot of great looking buildings in it.

Ahh, those fantastic times when I've played sc3k with no mods etc. etc. .. I remember I had 2 000 000 people in mmy city
This was a game I really liked  but I cann't play it anymore

Simcity 3000 was so much fun to fool around with... I spent a lot of time with it back in those days.  But I grew to eventually hate the fact that houses could build 5 tiles from a road even if the house was blocked on all sides! 

A nice trip to those old days of simcity
