I don't wanna hijack this thread, but what's the deal with that? Did he really reject that? What was his reasoning? I've tried following the story on the new bay bridge, but its been overshadowed by other news stories.

They had a documentary about the construction of the bridge on the Discovery Channel - not very informative but pretty interesting.

    San Francisco-Highway 1

Here are some shots around Highway 1 just near the Sunset District. As you can see many cars take this road to go across town. From the golden gate to Daly City and farther. The highway is well know in California.

Hey I love your San Francisco Region. Can you e-mail it to me? I want to play it so much. I won't redistribute it or anything illegil like that. My hotmail is pokeravi@hotmail.com. In return for letting me play your city, I will let you have my Washington D.C. Region when I am done with it. I have a city journal on it if you look at it in the forums. Thanks.

great update mexicanboy. I love how the beaches area gentaly rolls to the sea. thats not the easiest thing to do and get looking well. SC4 doesnt like to let you make those kinds of maps pretty. But you were able to make a beautifil city on it. And that tower looks great...where is that from...is it downloadable. Keep up the great work..and hope to see more soon.

Your freedom is the most expensive thing you have, even if you arn't the one that paid for it... Use it well.

    Nice journal mexicanboy13r!!
One thing....you should try to cover those empty zoned spaces...they look weird45.gif
There is an exact copy of that tower(UPN...I think)on the official site if you dare to go there18.gif

On a side note...If anyone is interested in a city journal based on the other bay city Oakland...PM me and i'll see if some kind of team work is possible...only if there is enough interest....i don't want to end up like superstar and have to open threads like NYC 10000 calling out for a team18.gif...
too bad he decided to end it...he should have waited until vacations and stuff like that to work on it...
I was the graphics guy or something similar48.gif

It is in the stex.. It may take me awhile.. But I can look..

    Victorian/Row homes-San Francisco

You've probably seen a photograph of postcard row: six beautifully restored Victorian houses against the backdrop of the San Francisco skyline -- it's one of the classic images of San Francisco. From 1850 to 1900, 48,000 houses in the range of styles that we now call Victorian were built to accommodate the city's burgeoning population. Many of these houses were lost in the great fire that followed the 1906 earthquake, and others were torn down over the years to makes way for new development. However, thousands of these elegant homes still grace the streets of San Francisco just waiting to be discovered and admired.
