This is just awesome I love how much thought and detail you put into everything ! Really makes me want to give up city building :D

And you wanted casinos right ? Because I've started working on one now. Got a bit distracted though and made this, so I have to see how much of it's coolnes can be translated into the game, because a casino relies on nice lightning and the night a lot, which will be hard to achieve in cities...

Edit: I released it you can find it herehttp://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=431256117. It's not very...conventional...though.

I whispered some profanity while gazing that last update. The canals and that shot with the sunken railroad.......................I really look forward to your updates. This CJ would make great Cities Skylines coffee table book material.

Drosovila- I look forward to when C:S look like that picture. ^^

That harbour looks really nice! Best attempt at realistic harbour seen in a cj yet :D

Also your stadium is really lovely. I like how you did the area around it :)

    Replies:

    Haljackey: Thank you!
Carnivorus: Thanks, good to hear it looks somewhat realistic.
    kingofsimcity: Thanks a lot!
    Ln X: Thank you!
    Sirti: Danke! :)
TheX: Thank you, I am using this mod.
Ultimate727: Thanks mate. What, you don't have a yacht? You should stop spending money on useless things like welfare or education.
Drosovila: Hey, nice to see you around here. Thanks for your kind words, I really hope you get demotivated building cities so you spend more time with awesome assets! :D I already incorporated your casino into my city, thanks a lot for that! But I agree, we really do need a propper day/night cycle, it's one of the things I miss from SC2013.
    Mr_Maison: Thank you!
YUUU: Thanks, glad you like it.

    San Leandro

    #11 Connecting the Dots

After a well-deserved time off that I spent with cheap liquor over in Talooga I am back to work in San Leandro. My focus is still to connect undeveloped areas in between my various cities and towns. Two new projects have been realized: Ocean City is growing outward, the new district of Ocean City West is up and running. Across the highway is a smaller town, called Creola.

But before I get to the main part I am happy to show you yet another attraction on Ocean City's Strip:

    IAGTWUB.jpg

A new casino on The Strip

Alright, here are some overview pictures of the new areas.

    O6Vwmxz.jpg

Overview - the upper half is Ocean City West, the lower half Creola

    CkGj3h6.jpg

Ocean City West is actually to the west in this picture - the interchange you see is a first attempt at freehanding a curved DDI

I begin the tour in Ocean City West. After some consideration, I decided to move the county seat over here to give it more room and thus a more respectable surrounding. Apart from that the district is dominated by appartment blocks, shopping streets, a few offices and the iconic elevated rails which weave through the narrow streets.

Okay, that's it for now. Thanks for reading! :)

Du weißt echt was du machst :) Sieht bei dir alles sehr real aus, fast als hättest du jedes Haus einzeln gesetzt. Ich finde die vielen Bäume echt toll^^

    Awesome!

    Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

    This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

    Cool :)

Just as a quick update regarding this CJ: I stopped playing CS:S and thus this city a while ago (I binged a bit too much and got bored of it). However I just started a new city on a European map with the latest update. I might post some pictures in this thread soon.
