Looking privacy fencing or brick walls for subdivisions

Is there such a thing? Most of the housing developments around where I live have privacy fences or brick walls built around them. Is there such a thing for SC4?

You could try to find housing to download that has these features, otherwise find some props (plenty of walls/hedges and the like out there) and lot them yourself onto your existing buildings. As for a mod that adds them to all items in-game, which I suspect you are looking for, that simply wouldn't work, there is no simple way to add a prop to every lot in the game, they would all need to be edited manually.

More along the lines of something I can add in lots adjacent to lots with houses on them. For example, in the image below, I used the sound walls I found somewhere (can't remember where, it's been too long). However, I think they stand out a little too much to be used over and over, whereas a brick wall or wooden privacy fence would, I think, look more generic.

OK, with you now, I don't know of any off-hand, making simple wall lots wouldn't be too hard, there are as I said plenty of wall props out there to choose from.

 

The only other thing I can think of is the set of Aubrac Walls available as either lots or an although they are perhaps a little too short for such situations? I made set of hedges, they could also be useful for filling such boundaries.

There are some security fencing props on the Pegasus site as a part of some of the CDK sea ports and the coast guard airport.  You could pick these up and modify them to suit for inclusion in your lots.  I don't recall that they are separately ploppable.

Also at the Pegasus site (and on the STEX) is the SPAM mod.  This is a farming mod that has a lot of options for fences.  You do not have to download the whole mod.  There is a prop pack that you can download that contains the fences, but won't change the farming in the game.

You can also search for "hedge" and/or "fence" on the STEX or on SC4D - there are some pre-made lots. I seem to remember that someone even made a set specifically with gated communities in mind. Since the STEX search tends to be a bit wonky, typing "hedges" "STEX" (or similar search terms, each including the quotation marks) into your preferred search engine should produce some results.
