J.O...I sure hope you aren't going to give up on Geb right now. When you first told me about Geb I've really liked the story and I still do! If your main passion for Geb is just writing the story, then that's fine with me...This is your city journal, you should be doing what you like to do. Of course, pictures would be great, but you don't have to pressure yourself into spending large amounts of time devoted to city-building just so that your cities fit well with your story. And if working with 3dsmax is easier for you, then that's great! You have great talent and it'll be really nice for you to show us some of your creations with 3dsmax from time to time. Anyways, like I've said before, you've got great story writing skills and it would be great for you to continue with Geb but if you really must stop, then I'm fine with that also...Well, I'll just have to wait and see then, won't I?...lol. It has been great so far and I look forward to more...Great job J.O.!36.gif

Well J.O., great to see that you've made an update! I've been waiting for a long time to see this, and the story is starting out great so far. I wonder what's awaiting Yuna in the Great Desert...lol. Hmm, whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be amazing! Perhaps she'll be able to meet the other characters as well? Anyways, you've got great writing skills and imagination. And it's alright that you don't have that many pictures, the story itself is very well written and you can post a picture here and there if you have time. So, keep it up J.O.! I'll look forward to your next update and see what's happening in Geb!

Amazing stuff JO. Your creations with 3ds max are truly unbelievable. To think that I watched you grow from the time you first got 3ds max to how good you are now.

The futuristic complex you are making for Sc4 is coming along great. I can't wait to see it appear on the Stex. Please post more updates. 44.gif

Hi J.O.! Great to see another update. Looks like Professor Ryan just figured out the way to travel faster than the speed of light! I'm sure this will be of great benefit to Geb...The people of Geb now faces a future where travel to the stars is actually possible. lol...I don't have a single clue as to what the equation meant but, as long as it works on Geb...Well J.O., you are really developing your characters very nicely. The story is going great, apart from the typos5.gif lol...and I can't wait until you introduce more characters! Anyways, wonderful work as always and keep the stories coming!

wow..that is so cool to see my name in your story..hehe...but one problem...I would rather die a painful death by stampeding ladie shoppers at a JC Penny's sale then ever uter the work recon...hehe

but other than that...you have taken the story to a whole new level...sorts the Civilization treatment of Sc4...from the early days of the regions development...to the space age and beyond. That is so cool and origional...keep it up

Your freedom is the most expensive thing you have, even if you arn't the one that paid for it... Use it well.

Hmm, so that first picture is of the Broome Space Station...I guess that space elevator is the one that is located in Euskadi? Very nice addition to the story! Maybe my character should buy a ticket ride to the space station, lol. Well, I took the time to check your calculations *I got sidetracked*...and yep, it does take 12 hours to travel up to the BSS! 44.gif And nice blob projection of that savant, by the way, it looks really nice. I just want to say that I agree with all the other commenters, your city journal is truly exceptional! You've got a great story with excellent pictures of the things you made, and you don't even need much city pictures. I can't wait to see what all this is leading up to...Excellent work as always, J.O.! 36.gif

Hi! Yet another great introduction for your characters. So, here is an additional genius to the story, Frogface...Doctor Ryan and Frogface would have alot in common to talk about, lol. It's a pity the project didn't work out, otherwise it would have been a giant leap forward in Geb's technological advances! No need for nuclear power anymore...And I like Frogface's savant too! She looks really nice, and she has a caring side as well. I guess these savants are quite different from just any AI...They act on their own accord and against policies apparently, as Cydan there *secretly* took images of the project, lol. Well, the pictures are excellent as always! I like how you added that bit of blue crack to the building...I don't know how you did that, but it's a nice touch. The picture of the savant is great too! I'm looking forward to more, J.O...Until next time, then! 35.gif

    UFOs in Geb?!

    ufo7tp.jpg

Well, these were the news that were in most nespapers and holonews. An UFO was sighted near the sea. Askatasuna stated that no airplane tests occured, and the planetary monitoration stated that an unknown object indeed was detected in that area.
Eyewitnesses who took the picture reported that the object was moving quite slowsly and emmited a loud humming. As they took the picture it swiftly turned towards the sky and vanished in faster-than-sound speed. A sonic boom happened aftermath.

    40.gifAnd now a word from our maestro40.gif
Well, I left the storyline intensive period for this small, and low-quality interlude. Actually this was a picture I edited via 3dsmax and added the UFO.
Since I have plans for the UFOs in the future... which will only be uncovered... say.. in my next journal...2.gif
Yuna: Savants have emotions, much like real people, although the ones presented so far are high savants, which sacrificed their humanity in order to have a greater efficiency. Yet they also have individualty, self-awareness and personality. They just don't show it...
Sim_mc: Thanks for the cool pictures part, although your hyper-resumed-geb--with-deplorable-net-speak was quite unappropriate 18.gif
Shadow Assasin: Well... Your charachter may be a little headache. Act III will be mostly epic and a simple freight busness owner wouldn't be that awesome... I'm still thinkering, perhaps I'll change your chrachter to another job, but I'll make sure you have your bit of the storyline12.gif
