Is There High Tech Industrial

Just wondering, is there high tech industrial or an equivalent?  I remember in SimCity you could have high tech industrial - where people would make computer chips and other high end industrial products.

Basically high tech industrial = offices. Once the regular industry upgrades all the way they make more $ but they're still dirty and produce pollution. Offices make less $ and you need more of them but they are clean and quiet so you can place them alongside residential areas. Offices also seem to be affected much more by stuff similar to residential zoning where as industrial don't seem to be affected as much by the surrounding area.

They get less dirty when upgraded though, so it's at least something. But yes, offices are the clean alternative.

Still doesn't explain where the high-tech stuff gets manufactured.  That still has to occur in the real world.  Or maybe it is assumed to all take place in China outside the C:SL "world?"

Some of the  industrial buildings have "high-tech" in their names. Just read the signs.

Level 3 industry could pass as high tech. It employs highly educated people and looks kinda futuristic. It still pollutes though.
